VAIANA

The speaker has been staring at the edge of the water for as long as they can remember, not knowing why. They wish they could be the perfect daughter but always return to the water no matter how hard they try. Every path they take leads back to the place they cannot go but long to be. The speaker sees where the sky meets the sea and it calls to them. No one knows how far the speaker will go if the wind in their sails stays behind them.
