Mini Bear

DC – double crochet

MR – magic ring

DEC – decrease

INC – increase

TRIPLE INC – 3 sc into the same stitch

SL ST – slip stitch

ARMS (2 pieces):

1) 5 sc in MR (5)
2) Inc x 5 (10)
3– 4) Next 2 rows sc around (10)
5) (3 sc, dec) x 2 (8)
6) 8 sc around (8)
7) 6 sc, dec (7)
8 – 11) Next 4 rows, sc around (7)
Fold in half, 3 sc to connect the adges.

EARS (2 pieces):

1) 6 sc in MR (6)
2) Inc x 6 (12)
3 – 4) Next 2 rows sc around (12)
Fold in half, 6 sc to connect the adges.

MUZZLE:

1) Chain 5; sc into the 4th stitch from the hook; 2 sc into the next 2 stitches; 3sc into the last stitch;
2 sc into the next 2 stitches; 2 sc where the 1st stitch comes from. (10)
2) 4 sc; triple inc; 4 sc; triple inc (14)
3) 14 sc around, sl st. secure the thread, leave the end to attach the muzzle to the head. (14)

1st leg:

1) 6 sc in MR (6)
2) Inc x 6 (12)
3 – 6) Next 4 rows sc around ; sl st, secure the tread, cut the tread leaving a short end. (12)

2nd leg:

1) 6 sc in MR (6)
2) Inc x 6 (12)
3 – 6) Next 4 rows sc around; DON’T CUT OFF THE TREAD, move on to the body.

BODY:

1) Chain 1, connect legs together by sc into the stitch where sl st of the 1st leg was; 11 sc along the
fisrt leg; 1 sc into the chain of 1; 12 sc along the second leg; 1 sc into the chain of 1 (26)
2 – 6) Next 5 rows sc around (26)
7) (11 sc, dec) x 2 (24)
8) 24 sc around (24)
9) (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
