This document contains the results of a structural analysis of a frameless glass balustrade using SJ MEPLA software. The balustrade is modeled as a quadrangle with fixed and simply supported edge supports and spring supports. The analysis found a maximum displacement of 7.86mm, which is less than the allowable deflection of 58.3mm. It also found a maximum principal stress of 9.83MPa, which is less than the allowable stress of 36.5MPa. Therefore, the results indicate the balustrade design is structurally safe based on the modeling assumptions.
