IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE
1. Check the correctness of your name and Hall Ticket number present in the Hall ticket.
2. The Hall Tickets are issued based on the declaration and the information provided by the
applicant in an online application.
3. It is not allowed to bring any materials except the Hall Ticket, valid identification card and
blue/black ball point pen into the examination hall.
4. The hall ticket must be produced for verification along with at least one original valid
identification card (for example: Pan Card/Voter Card/Aadhaar-UID/Ration Card/ Student
ID Card issued by the college last studied.
5. The candidates who do not have clear photographs on the hall ticket will have to bring two
passport size photographs for appearing in the Test with an undertaking.
6. Candidates will be permitted into the Examination Hall from 07:30 AM to 09:00 AM for FN
Session and from 12:30 PM to 02:00 PM for AN Session for identification.
7. Candidate will not be permitted into the Examination Hall after Gate closing time (i.e.09:00
AM for FN Session and 02:00 PM for AN Session) and will not be allowedto leave the
Examination Hall till the END of the Examination (i.e.12:00 PM for FN Session and 05:00
PM for AN Session).Candidates will not be allowed into the examination hall even if they
are late by one minute after Gate Closing time. Gates will be closed 30 minutes before the
start of examination.
8. Candidates will be permitted to appear for the examination ONLY after their credentials
are verified by centre officials.
9. Candidates are liable for rejection at any point of time for submitting false / fake
information.
10. The check-in procedure inside the test hall includes capturing bio-metric left thumbprint.
This is a security feature which will allow DSC/TET office to verify your identity and also to
check impersonation by any candidate. Therefore, they are advised not to apply any
external substance like Mehndi, Ink etc, on their hands/foot. Candidates are instructed not
to wear shoes, and also wrist watch while coming to the Examination Centre.
11. Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic gadgets, mobile/cellular phone, tablets,
pen drives, calculators, wallets, handbags, notes, charts, Loose sheets,Recording
Instruments strapped on your body or in your pockets. Calculators are not allowed or any
kind of wristwatches etc. in the examination hall.
12. Management is not responsible for any loss of your valuable devices or personal
belongings outside the examination hall.
13. Candidates are requested to cooperate to do thorough frisking before entering the exam
labs. Candidates will be permitted to appear for the Test, only after their credentials are
verified by center officials and after frisking to ensure that no prohibited articles are
carried inside the test center.
14. Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall till the expiry of full time. If
any candidate leaves the examination hall during the examination, he/she shall be
disqualified. In case of any violation, the candidate will be disqualified.
15. Any candidate found guilty of using unfair means of any nature in the Examination Hall
will be ordered to leave the Examination Hall and he/she will not be allowed to leave the
center before the closing time of the Examination. A case of malpractice will be booked
against the candidate under the A.P. Public Examinations Prevention of Malpractices and
Unfair Means Act 25/97.
16. Visually impaired candidates (40% and above handicapped candidates) and
Orthopedically Challenged (those who do not have both hands) are allowed the assistance
of a scribe.
17. The conduct of Computer Based Test (CBT) in multi sessions results in variation in the
question papers across different sessions. In order to bring parity in evaluation of the
performance of candidates appearing in different sessions, the process of normalization as
adopted by major leading organizations like Staff Selection Commission, Railway
Recruitment Board, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in the conduct of
recruitment examinations in Central Government, in Railways and Banks, AP High Court,
AP School Education, TSPSC, TS MHSRB etc. and also, National Testing Agency (NTA), IIMs,
APSCHE, TSCHE etc., in the Entrance examinations like JEE, NEET, CAT, EAMCET etc., is
adopted by the AP School Education
18. If you face any hardware or software problems with the system / computer provided,
please inform the same to the Invigilators to rectify the problem immediately. In case the
problem is not rectified within reasonable time, you will be provided with another system.
The time lost for changing the system will be compensated.
19. No traveling expenses will be paid for the journey to take up the test.
20. Rough papers will be provided for rough work in the examination hall. Candidates will not
be allowed to leave the examination center without handing over the rough papers to the
invigilator concerned after the end of the examination.
21. These are model instructions and candidates must follow the latest instructions issued
from time to time and also go through the Hall Ticket instructions carefully.
