5.Victim Search and Evacuation
• Rescue Technician use proper PPE include
respiratory protection
• SCBA Control Board in close monitoring
• Two-In Two Out System in place
• Rapid Intervention Team
(RIT)/Crew (RIC) is in place
• locate/identify the last position of the victim
• Define the approaching method (by using
ladder or lowering system), 1 or 2 rescuer

5.Victim Search and Evacuation
• Once victim located, check surrounding for
Danger and Respond to the Victim
• Safely drag victim to nearest exit point
• Perform victim packaging if possible or
necessary
• Prepare evacuation means, connect to
hauling system
• Identify the most effective means to
evacuate victim to the ground
