Freedom (Concert)
Opportunity was a livestream show by Filipino vocalist Regine Velasquez (envisioned) hung on
February 28, 2021. Following the scratch-off of music occasions during the episode of the Coronavirus
pandemic, Velasquez coordinated the show to make a live encounter on a stream for her fans
yearning for a feeling of human association. The show's reason was "opportunity of singing", coming
from her craving to cover melodies from a few music classes. It was shot at the studios of ABS-CBN in
Metro Manila, with performers, foundation singers, and artists on set, and was communicated
through four livestreaming stages around the world. Its set included an enormous Drove screen as a
scenery and props looking like origami cranes dangling from the roof. She played out various choices
from craftsmen like Elton John, Chris Isaak, George Michael, Sara Bareilles, Dua Lipa, and Billie Eilish.
Pundits gave the show high recognition for its creation and vocal exhibitions, setting a benchmark for
online shows in the Philippines.
The show was partitioned into four demonstrations and opened with a brief video presentation
described by Velasquez. Its set highlighted an enormous Drove screen as a scenery and mathematical
designs of birds dangling from the roof. Velasquez, in a red dress with a long cape, advanced toward a
raised stage to perform George Michael's "Opportunity!" (1990). She plummeted the platform and
went straight into her version of "Bold" (2013) by Sara Bareilles, joined by female artists playing out
an expressive dance schedule. The vocalist went on into a more slow number, a capella front of Billie
Eilish's "The point at which the Good times have come and gone" (2018), preceding progressing into
Chris Isaak's "Fiendish Game" (1989). The following tune was an English, stripped-down rendition of
K-pop gathering Two times' 2017 single "Heart Shaker". For "Farewell Yellow Block Street" (1973) by
Elton John, she performed with piano backup from Mitra.[15][17]
In the subsequent demonstration, Velasquez changed into a dark ribbon bodysuit and performed Dua
Lipa's "Suspending" (2020) while doing a movement with her artists. She put on a long coat for her
own melodies "Bukas Sana" (2001) and "Tanging Mahal" (2001); the Juans' "Istorya" (2017) and
Ben&Ben's "Leaves" (2017), two tunes from Filipino groups, were likewise essential for the set
rundown. To start the third demonstration, Bamboo Mañalac went in front of an audience for a
presentation of his 2004 single "Masaya", before Velasquez, in a white silk suit, went along with him
for a two part harmony of "Himala" (1996). Not long after was Velasquez's front of Adele's "Moving in
the Profound" (2010), which added "Eventually" (2001) by Linkin Park. Then, Velasquez talked
momentarily about the 2021 narrative film Outlining Britney Lances, which she watched while under
isolation, and trusted Lances could ultimately accomplish independence from her conservatorship. To
respect her, Velasquez sang "...Baby Once again", Lances' 1998 introduction single. She finished the
section with a two part harmony with a holographic rendition of herself, performing "On the Wings of
Affection" (1982).[15][17]
For the last venture, Velasquez wore a yellow off-the-shoulder dress and started with Sway Dylan's
"Cause You To feel My Adoration" (1997) and Madonna's "Insane for You" (1985), which she
committed to her child and spouse. Patti Austin's "I Will Recollect You" (1991) was performed for an in
memoriam portion that honored people in the Philippine media outlet, including the individuals who
had passed on from Coronavirus. Velasquez, joined by her female artists, played out a variety of
melodies that had turned into a web sensation on the internet based video stage TikTok. Opportunity
shut with a reprise execution of Tears for Fears' "Distraught World" (1982).[15][17] celebrity ticket
holders got to go to a virtual meet-and-welcome and get-together, aside from seeing in the
background film from Opportunity's practices.
