INTRODUCTION :-
E-commerce (electronic commerce or EC) is the buying and selling of goods
and services, or the transmitting of funds or data, over an electronic network,
primarily the internet. These business transactions occur either as business-to-
business, business-to consumer, consumer-to-consumer or consumer-to-
business. E-commerce shops have become part of our daily lives. Technological
advancement has made it possible for people to sit in the convenience of their
homes and still shop online without going to a physical shop.
The customer can search for products selection, update the cart, remove
products from the cart and check out from the shop. The customer is also able to
update his information such as names, address and other data. The User is only
able to browse the online shop and add a product to the cart. The user is limited
to the use of the shop.
OBJECTIVE :-
The Objective of Ecommerce might differ based on the business, but
generally they comprise lower costs, increasing sales, and improving
customer satisfaction. Sales can be increased by attracting more
customers through improved marketing strategies or by lowering the
cost of products sold. Costs can be lowered by determining ways to
reduce manufacturing and distribution expenses or by developing new
products that are cheaper to produce. Customer satisfaction can be
improved by offering a quality product that is easy to use and fulfills
customer needs.
PURPOSE :-
With the evolution of technology and the wave of digitalization,
more and more businesses are adapting to tech evolutions. You will
find the digital payment options with the grocery sellers & street -
side vendors as well. The ultimate purpose behind this evolution is to
make shopping a hassle-free experience for everyone. The main
purpose behind making this E-commerce website is to make easy
availability of goods for the customer with benefits like lower rate
for the product as well as home delivery. With the help of these
services it will become easier for the customer to do shopping or
purchase any goods.
SCOPE :-
E-commerce has bloomed over the years and is one of the fastest-growing
domains in the online world. Though it took some time for this to be accepted by
the end-users, today we are at a point where the majority of the people love to
shop online. There were numerous concerns revolving around online shopping at
its launch, but over the years people have started to trust E-commerce for all
their shopping needs. The scope of ecommerce is vast.
In India, people prefer shopping online these days rather than having to visit the
physical store. The payment features that are smart and secure as well as the
cash on delivery (COD), which makes the payment, even more, safer with hassle-
free shipping, easy returns and reach out.The e-commerce sector is improving
and growing, expanding the scope of ecommerce. As it grows and improves, the
dealers and business owners are striving their best to make it aligned with the
user needs, including speedy delivery, return options, multiple methods of
payment and more. Now since each of the e-commerce solutions is competing
hard to provide their consumers with the best, consumers are left in doubt about
which should be their choice.
EXISTING SYSTEM :-
There are many E-commerce websites available on the internet ,but
mostly these websites contain products that are related to multiple categories.
There are very few websites that contain products related to a single or particular
category like clothing and fashion , electronics etc. Having a website that has
category wise products will be very convenient to use for the user.
PROPOSED SYSTEM :-
The user have to register and login to the website to purchase the
products. The user can browse and purchase multiple products according to
their need and liked products. User can simply add any product to the cart and
the simply go ahead with the checkout by paying the bill with multiple available
options. This will be very convenient for the user as the user will get a good deal
with good discounts and home delivery.
