A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING THE GRANT OF SERVICE RECOGNiTION INCENTIVE (SRI) TO THE


BARANGAY OFFICIALS OF BARANGAY POBLACION E, TARANGNAN, SAMAR FROM THE PERSONAL
SERVICES SAVINGS AMOUNTING TO ___________________________________, RESPECTIVELY.

WHEREAS, the government recognizes the salient role of its employees in the delivery of quality service
to people and in the community development and nation building;

WHEREAS, Department of Budget and Management (DBM) issued Budget Circular No. 2017-4 dated
December 4, 2017, prescribe the rules and regulations on the grant of Service Recognition Incentive
(SRI) to government personnel for Fiscal Year 2017 and years thereafter, pursuant to Executive Order
(EO) No.201,s. 2016 entitled, “Modifying the Salary Schedule for Civilian Government Personnel and
Authorizing the grant of additional Benefits for Both Civilian and Military and Uniformed Personnel,” as
approved by the President on February 19, 2016.

WHERAS, granting of Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) to barangay officials shall likewise increase
productivity, motivate and encourage them to surpass what have been done for this year and to work
harder for the ensuing year 2021.1.7

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved upon the unanimous presented, it was;

RESOLVED FURTHER, To furnish copies of this resolution the Municipal Mayor, the Municipal Treasurer,
the DILG Mun. Officer all in Tarangnan, Samar respectively for their information and
guidance.
