                BASIC 1 : ABOUT PEOPLE
• This unit is about people and families. Learners will listen to an outgoing
  voice mail message from the Dixon family. They will listen to and take part in a
  dialogue between two students discussing their studies, and will read an e-mail
  about a family on vacation in Monacot. The grammar section deals with
  “Be”: negative, and Present Progressive: spelling changes. The
  vocabulary section provides learners with exposure to and practice of words
  and phrases on the topic of adjectives.

                                ADJECTIVE
• Adjectives are words that modify nouns or pronouns. So, in a sentence, identify
  adjectives are easy since they fall right before nouns or pronouns. Adjectives
  explain further details about a noun, what it looks like ex. The green house,
  how many there are ex. The four tables, or which one it is (The first chance).
• For example
1. A greenhouse over there has many windows.
2. The four tables have been sold out.
3. I will never give up on this chance since it is my first chance.
4. The words Green, four, first give more details about the nouns they modify.
                              ADJECTIVES
• An adjective might answer the mental questions such as what kind is it? as with
  green, how many are there such as shown in three, which one is it as with the
  first. Adjective that answer the first question are descriptive adjective while the
  other two are called limiting adjective.
                                ADJECTIVES
• beautiful, big, blue, evil, funny, handsome, happy, hard, kind, little, red, sad, short,
  soft, tall, agree. (Descriptive adjective)

                                  BASIC 2
• This unit deals with people who have done interesting things. Learners will
  listen to a radio interview with the inventor of the “whistling wallet.” They will
  listen to and take part in a dialogue in which a couple is having a difference of
  opinion, and read an article about a woman who started her own cleaning
  business. The grammar section deals with the Past Simple - regular,
  irregular, and question form. The vocabulary section provides learners
  with exposure to and practice of words and phrases on the topic of
  adjectives.
