THE JALAL SCHOOL SYSTEM

Teachers Rules:
PUNCTUALITY:
• Teacher’s attendance will be maintained by the time recorder and register.
• Teacher is obliged to report at school 15 minutes prior to ongoing school timings.
• The off timings of the teacher will be 30 minutes after the school off timings for
students.
DUTIES:
• Teachers should perform their respective duties (morning assembly, uniform, break,
off-time- Students should come in a proper line, discipline, activities duties)
• Teachers have to follow the instruction of assembly, uniform, lab, discipline and
activities incharge or coordinate with them.
• Class teacher are responsible for softboard décor, whiteboard pattern and whatsapp
diary.
• Class teachers are to assign only the monitors to collect the class register, diaries and
other notes from the office or staff room.
• Teacher should bear in mind that no pupil is to be sent out of the classroom without
class pass and in 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th lecture no pupil is to be sent out of the classroom.
• Class teachers select class monitor through voting and give responsibilities of softboard
and class pass.
• Every teacher should participate in school activities or function.
• During class hours no teacher is allowed to leave his/her respective classes, except
under unavoidable circumstances.
• Teachers are to take great care and precision while tabulating the marks and no errors
will be accepted while preparing the results.
• Syllabus, Papers, Results must be prepared and submitted to the In charge according to
the school calendar. no errors will be accepted while preparing the results.
ACADEMIC:
• Lesson planner and model copies must be submitted to the Coordinator/ Principal/
deputy director/ directors' representative every Saturday on a weekly basis.
• Videos related to chapters, Worksheets or any academic materials decision/ changes
should be approved by Miss Qudsia jalal (directors' rep).
• Must follow copies instructions for classwork or homework and your copies rechecked
according to instruction by School Coordinator/ Principal/ deputy director/ directors'
rep
• Paper should be checked according to given instructions (strict checking in high class,
remover/cutting are not allowed, use of bubble sheets, also consider spelling mistake,
long answer with headings or diagrams, formation must be considered in pre-3 class)
• Presentation pattern must follow in school copies and paper
• Teachers should bear in mind that every work must be up to date and duly corrected
with red pen. Remarks, signature and date have to be written for every correction.
Correction should not exceed more than three days.
• Every student’s notes, class work, homework and workbook must be complete and
correct and any incomplete or incorrect work must be immediately corrected and
completed before the new lesson/chapter.
DISCIPLINE:
• School expects an outstanding standard of discipline to be maintained by both teaching
and non- teaching staff. So take permission before enter office or classroom.
• Teachers are to speak only in English/Urdu in class and on the school grounds in order
to set an example to the children.
• Teachers are not allowed to leave the school premises once they are inside the school
compound. Teachers are to bring their own tiffin/ lunch.
• Teachers are not allowed to do corrections, prepare questions papers, tabulation, results,
read novels/ magazine etc. during their class hours.
• Teachers must cooperate with one another and Teachers are expected to demonstrate
respect towards their colleagues by addressing them with appropriate titles such as
"Miss" or "Sir." This fosters a professional and respectful environment among staff
members. Speaking ill of another colleague or of the school will not be tolerated.
• Teachers are to keep in their minds that leisure periods are given especially for
correction or for lesson preparation. So during that time they are expected to be in the
staff room engaged with their work.
• There should be a clear boundary or distance maintained between students and teachers
to uphold professionalism and appropriate teacher-student dynamics. This helps in
maintaining discipline and preventing any familiarity that might compromise the
teacher's authority.
• Teaching and non-teaching staff are not allowed to leave school without permission
slip. (Sign of principal/ deputy director/ directors' rep)
• Visitor teachers before leaving the school must inform in office.
• Policy for leave, holidays, latecomers, resignation and termination of services
explained to you by principal.

• Annual increments offer on basis of overall performance and student strength.

• Half paid summer vacation _____ years services teachers.

• Teachers with 100% in board classes with be awarded with one-month bonus salary
UNDERTAKING:
I have read and understood the Rules and Regulations as laid down and agree to abide by them.
If I fail to carry out my responsibilities as mentioned above, I solemnly declare hereby that I
shall accept without question the decision of the management even if it means termination of
service without the required notice.
