NARRATIVE REPORT on
SINULOG FIESTA CELEBRATION 2024
Tonggo Integrated School has recently concluded their BSP SINULOG FIESTA
CELEBRATION 2024. This was held on February 08, 2024 at Tonggo Integrated School
grounds. It showcased the vibrant culture and traditions of the cebuanos through
captivating dance and ritual performances. The event brought together the students,
teachers and community members such as parents and barangay officials just to
celebrate the spirit and essence of the highly anticipated and celebrated - Sinulog sa
Tonggo Integrated School.
The presentation started with the electrifying presentation of TIS Band followed
by the heartfelt dance halad presentation by the TIS teachers which is entitled ‘’Mabuhi
ka Sugbuanon.’’.
Survival skills in the form of rally games was also made. Scouts learned essential
outdoor skills crucial for self-reliance such as knot tying, compass reading, and creating
a fire out from bamboo slit by friction. Physical exercise was also observed. There was
also an evening gathering – the campfire ceremony. This served as a platform for
scouts to showcase their talents. The campfire ceremony fostered camaraderie and
strengthened the bonds of friendship among scouts. Zumba exercise in the morning and
rugged hiking have benefited not only for the goodness of body but also strengthening
bonds and spirits.
The Boy Scout Institutional Camp was a resounding success, encapsulating the
spirit of scouting through its emphasis of leadership, outdoor skills and camaraderie.
The camp provided the scouts with invaluable experiences and memories that will
shape their character and inspire them to uphold the values of scouting in their lives.
They carried not only newfound knowledge and skills but also cherished friendships and
renewed sense of purpose.
