Loosen the tensioner
Turn the tensioner backwards
Tighten the tensioner

Check the gearwheels, tensioner and idler pulley(s) for damage and wear

Fit the timing belt
Loosen the tensioner
Turn the engine 2 rotations clockwise
Check the timing marks again
Turn the crankshaft clockwise to align the timing marks

Disconnect the battery

Tighten the tensioner (20 - 25 Nm)
Check the timing belt tension
Apply tension to the timing belt (98 N)

Refit the timing covers (8 - 11 Nm)

Tighten the power steering pump (40 - 45 Nm)

Refit the alternator belt
Tighten the alternator (20 - 25 Nm, 44 - 50 Nm)

Tighten the bolts (30 - 35 Nm)
Refit the lower splash guard (8 - 11 Nm)
