Exam:

1. Prepare a population density map (persons per square kilometer)


of the region using the 2020 Census of Population and Housing.
Upload the map in image format through this link: Map Submission

Follow this file naming format: LASTNAME_GISEXAM_1.

All relevant data and files are in the Folder provided to you.

Time Duration – 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Properties, symbology, go to graduated, under value menu, locate


the population density. Color ramp.default, then click classify
buttonthen ok.

Create layout manager, in the layout window, add map, customize


the layout.

2. Open the Existing Roads and Bridges Susceptible to Flood Hazard


Map. Describe the map. What does it tell the reader? What could
be improved more in the presentation of the map?

It shows that the map hasn’t municipal label. The color code of
the map doesn’t prescribed into DENR Startard Color Coding.
Also the map shows does not have north arrow.
