1. Give three other major scientific and technological developments in the world (or in
the Philippines) that created a large impact on your daily life?
The three major scientific and technological that created a large impact in my life are
the INTERNET, VEHICLES, and GADGETS (cellphones, laptop, computer). I chose this
three as a major because it helps a lot for me in my daily work. For me, internet is very
helpful specially in my work, to send emails and messages related to my work, and it can
lessen effort during passing the reports. Second is the vehicles, which I used every day to go
to work not only in my work but it can help me every now and then to go market, or wherever
I need to go. The third is the gadgets, it also helps me to make my work easier and clean.
2. What historical antecedents gave rise to the inventions you mentioned in the first question?
The Middle ages, because it is the time when the printing was develop, that until now
has exist.
3. How did the developments in science and technology shape human history?
Technology has completely changed the way humans live, and therefore has shaped
human history. Telephones, the Internet, and engines allow people and goods to move from
place to place much quicker, and we can communicate around the world instantly. Through
science and technology, it is easier for inhabitants to communicate with other people around
the globe. It is also significant in the field of business because transactions and other events
are done through the computer. Science and technology enables every people to live in an
easy and modern way of life.

1. How important are the picture above when it comes to intellectual revolution?
The picture above for me, it was represent the fundamental intellectual and
humanitarian that aim of inquiry would be to help humanity acquire wisdom - wisdom being
the capacity to realize (apprehend and create) what is of value in life, for oneself and others,
wisdom thus including knowledge and technological know-how but much else besides.
2. What do you think are there contributions of how human visualize the modern
world?
The contribution of the intellectual is for the preparation of societies for each potential
change through foreseeing the future and taking advantage of the lessons of the past to
raise awareness and repair the imbalance as well as rejecting every form of injustice and
promoting of human value.

1. Why do you think were most intellectual ideas controversial?
For that matter any new idea is termed controversial. This is due to the human
tendency to maintain status quo. A new idea involves change that will have some
impact on the present status. We don’t want change. We don’t want to come out of
our comfort zone even if it is not comfortable. So, we tend to create controversy
around new ideas, so that they can be avoided.
2. How do intellectual revolutions transform societies?
These revolutions contributed a lot to the people's daily lives. The complicated
tasks can be easier and humans do their jobs with lesser effort because of the new
technologies invented.
3. Do you think the church should intervene in scientific activities?
There might be some cases that the church can intervene with scientific activities
that can greatly affect faith, morality, humanity, and virtues that religion has taught.
The church has been long considered as a foundation of religious faith and
catechism. There are several belief and cultural aspects that are highly upheld as a
part of every churches core values. And there are certain facts that Science can
oppose them and vise versa. They have an equal number of reasoning and fields
that may not be conducive to both and certain practices that can interrelate base on
history and traditions. People say that there is a war between Science and Faith
even in the early era of humanity. Justifications from the Science point of view can
be damaging or beneficial to what's churches and religions teachings. These can be
some major controversies to both like origin of mankind and Earth, sexuality and
anatomy, diseases and healing, paranormal activities, family planning. These
examples of things to tackle can ignite different stands and acceptance but what is
important, is that we all derive facts that are beneficial to people.
4. If Freud is still alive, what do you think are the major changes he would make to
his theory?
I think he’d modernize his theories in light of new discoveries - he was a
neurologist first and last. But much of what he would have to do would be to bail out
people who deliberately manipulated and misused his theories.

shape the society?
The essence of how science and technology contributes to society is the creation of
new knowledge, and then utilization of that knowledge to boost the prosperity of human
lives, and to solve the various issues facing society.

1. What do you think are the major contributions of science and technology to
Philippine nation-building?
Science and Technology hold the key to the progress and development of any
nation. Technology plays a Fundamental role in wealth creation, improvement of the
quality of life and real economic growth and transformation in any society. Through
science and technology, we can obtain deeper understanding of societal problems and
become good decision-makers who will find solutions and implement them. Only then,
Filipinos may be able to realize the “matatag, maginhawa at panatag na buhay.”.
2. Philippines is far from behind of the neighboring countries like Japan,
China, Singapore, and Korea in terms of the advancement of technology.
Do you think we should recalibrate the system of government when it
comes to research and development? Why?
Compared with other ADVANCEMENT of technology in Asia, Philippines
has been disappointing and the government should recalibrate because for me, our
government must change the management of the technology system because
technology is one of the ways to improve our country. Especially in employment, it is
great help to workers if we have advanced technology.
3. What are the significant contributions of the Spaniards and Americans to
the development of science and technology in the Philippines?
During the Spanish era Philippines had already been civilize one of this purpose
is the educational standards of the Spaniards they were too strict to the Filipinos the
science was also applied by early Filipinos because of the Americans and they took
a scientific way of new technology Americans are the reasons on why Filipino now a
days are using new technology in the early Spanish era Filipinos learn the scientific
way of matters and space before automatic technology has evolved this were the
early technologies that was brought to the Philippines which is the (1)Transportation
ships was contributed by Spaniards and early Americans during ww2, (2)Television
by Americans, (3) Machines, radio, Telephone, Tape recorder, X-ray scanner, Smart
phones, but most importantly because of this two foreign countries Philippines has
evolved because of the new technology
4. What policies do you want the government to implement in the near future?
I want the government to be Less spending, Better security for Citizens,
Stop illegal immigration, have proper legislation relating to Covid-19, have a good
livelihood the poor, a law that consider the out of school youth that they can go to
school, Support small businesses, Lessen politically imposed restrictions on people.
