Final year Project: Reduction of Incomplete Penetration Defect in Straight Tube Butt
Welding Machine – BHEL – Thrichy.
The main objective of the project is to reduce the major defect ICP
(INCOPMPLETE PENETRATION) caused in STBW. The ICP is caused by
certain phenomenon criteria during the welding process and the cause & effect
for the defect is identified and it is rectified. The defect is identified by real time
radiography that is used in NDT method. If these defects are reduced then there
will be increase in productivity and it saves time with efficient man power.
Mini project: Auto Pneumatic Braking System.
The main objective of the project is for security system. If vehicle moves very
near to the opposite vehicle then it applies the braking systems. It is used for
avoiding accident in highways and parking or busy traffic areas through
pneumatic braking.
