1. Describe an ideal house or apartment you would like to live in the
future.
If I had to talk about my ideal house, it would be a beautiful house by the
river in a peaceful country setting.
I love the idea of having a two-storey house because I think it would be
enough for a small family to live cosily. It would have to be painted
pink , which is my favorite color, and the ceiling would be beautifully
decorated with star and moon ornaments.
I love natural lights rather than artificial lights so each room would have
its own windows. The windows would also be decorated with coloured
string lights and various flowers, which would create a cosy atmosphere
for my family. I would hang some photos of inspirational quotes on the
walls in case I need some motivation. Each bedroom would have a
balcony where we can enjoy the breathtaking view of the river.
The perfect location would be by the sea because I love the idea of sitting
on the beach and watching the sunrise and the sunset every day. Another
reason is that the weather in coastal areas is usually nice―not too hot and
not too cold. It’s pleasant almost all year round.
I think I would have to save a lot of money if I want to buy a house like
this. The price of property has gone up quickly in recent years, but I think
it’s really worth it when I have a beautiful house like this
2.Describe a house/apartment that someone you know lives in.
The home that I'm going to describe is my sister house, that is a lovely
house located in Vung Tau city. I often go to her house for maybe to eat
some food or we can have some fun or go swimming in her pool . I really
like this house because it is the most comfortable house I have ever been
to. When you see it, it looks so nice because it's a pastel pink house with
a small garden and a lovely circular swimming pool. The house has 2
floors with full amenities, very suitable for a small family to live. My
sister loves to cook, so her kitchen is very full of cooking equipment. The
house consists of 3 bedrooms, the bedroom on the ground floor is a guest
room, and the master bedroom has a large comfortable balcony. When I
go there, I get such a unique feeling that I can't quite describe. So when I
go there it's usually a good occasion for us to have a barbecue with my
family so it feels like a special occasion every time I go. This is also a
great place for me because i love my sister's dog, he so cute. It's a great
place for me to let him go since he has such a big yard and the pool is
well so when it is a hot day outside and he is able to run around he can go
frolicking about, which is interesting.

3.Describe an occasion when you played an outdoor game with
others.
Blindfolded catching goats is one of the familiar folk games to play
outdoors. When I was in middle school, every day, when it was time to
play, I went down to the school yard to play blindfolded and catch goats
with my friends. The group worked together to find the goat catcher.
Then all the remaining people will stand in a circle. Blindfolded people:
will use cloth to cover their eyes, not be small during play and search
around, catch someone and guess that person's name correctly. Goat
maker: need to wriggle so as not to be caught by blindfolders and not to
run out of the pre-demarcated area. We had a lot of fun playing.
4. Describe an activity that you like to do with your friends in your
free time.
My favorite things to do in my free time is hanging out with my friends
and playing sports. I am a very outgoing person, so I love to meet and
have relaxing times with my friends at the weekend.
We usually sit at a coffee shop to chat about our week, or we sometimes
go shopping to buy some foods and then cook them at one of our houses.
Those times are when I feel comfortable to talk about me, and it really
helps me to reduce the pressure from the works of the entire week.
When all of my friends are busy, I choose to go to the park and play some
sports such as badminton and shuttlecock kicking. There are always
people that want to play with me, so I do not need a partner whenever I
want to play a sport.
Besides, I also go to the pool to have some fun under the water, and I am
pretty good at swimming. A week for me is so long, but thinking of the
free and good time to do whatever I like on Saturday and Sunday gives
me more strength and energy to finish it

5. Describe a piece of important news you got through a text message.
Nowadays cell phones have become our life. We do get some
fantastic news from our kith and kin or some crucial information via
text messages. Nevertheless, I have received important news in my
inbox, this is a significant piece of data, which I received lately was
about the cancellation of one of my flights.
I got my flight ticket booked on Traveloca app, from Dalat to
HCM two months ago, to take my examination. I vividly remember
that I did all my preparation beforehand and left for the airport. The
moment I reached there, out of the blue, I saw a message on my cell
from the Vietjeck airlines that my flight was cancelled due to some
technical glitches and bad weather.
I nearly went to pieces, thinking of the consequences of what if
I miss my exam as it was vital for me. I almost lost hope, but then I
ran to the ticket counter and spoke to the airline representative and
explain my situation immediately . Fortunately, her supervisor was
listening to our conversation and reassured me that they would
rearrange another flight at the earliest. I waited at the waiting lounge
for almost 4 hours, but then they arranged another plane for the
passengers whose trip was cancelled.
Indeed, I was thankful that they saved my day. Moreover, I was
able to sit for my exam. I wouldn’t say that the text message was
Important; instead it was staggering and shocking.
6.Describe an impressive story you heard from other people.
My mother used to tell me bedtime stories during my childhood and I
have heard some of those stories so many times they have been
permanently depicted in my memory.
One such story was the story of a boy who was 10 years old and got lost
one day. The boy tried to get back home but since a bad magician used
his black magic on the boy, he could not get back home. The boy would
be totally lost once the magic engulfs him totally and the magician would
then use the boy to do bad things. But in the boy's memory was his
mother and father and that's why he was not totally lost. The boy
continued his search for the way back to his home and on this journey, he
met an old man, a wounded tiger, a candy man, a king and a nomad with
gold coins. Each time the boy met someone many exciting things
happened. In fact, those were the tests for him. If he passes those tests
would be able to get back home and if he fails the tests, he would never
be able to get back home. Each time the boy faced a new challenge and
amazing circumstances, the story gets more exciting.
After the boy won the last challenge he was given, the impact of the
magic was no longer applicable and he found that he was standing nearby
his home. As a child, I really enjoyed this story. The story was
intelligently made and I loved to hear it.
Travel and transport
7.Describe an experience when you traveled by public transport:
I would like to talk about a trip that I went to by a public
transportation a long time ago. This memory left a lasting impression
on me until now.
Though I have my own motorbike, I sometimes use public
transportation to commute from home to school. On this day, I went
by bus with one of my friend because it was forecasted that it would
rain cat and dog in the morning and I didn’t want to get wet. We
departed at 6 a.m and tended to arrive at nearly 7 a.m. I thought
choosing to travel by bus was a smart choice due to several reasons.
Initially, in this sprawling city, the traffic congestion is extremely
terrible. In fact, travelling by bus would help you avoid a tailback or
a pile – up because we all have the own line for public transportation.
Secondly, sitting on a bus protect you from suffering the gas
emission coming from other traffic, thus, a better health would be
created.
To me, this trip was a best choice I’ve ever made in my life. I
had a valuable chance to enjoy the pace of life of the normal rat race
in the city that I often ignored when traveled by private motorbike.
Moreover, I felt safer while sitting on a bus since I didn’t need to
care about speed limit or jumping the lights as normal.
All in all, this trip is still fresh in my mind and I would use
public transportation more in the future.
8.Describe a trip that didn’t go as you had planned.
Even though it occasionally doesn't turn out that way, vacations
are meant to be a joyful respite from the tedious regularity of our
lives.
It makes me think of a time when I planned and failed a solo
vacation. I made my reservations to Da Lat after being motivated by
several YouTube travel bloggers. To prevent any big difficulties, I
did a good deal of research before my trip.
I was all there by myself. I thought of going there with my
friends but I wanted to explore it alone, as I had never been on a
vacation alone.
I made travel arrangements for the flight from HCM to Da Lat,
from whence I intended to check into a hotel to replenish before the
tour. I kept all the necessary items that might be needed based on the
suggestions from others and my research.
Until I got to my final destination, everything was running well.
As soon as I arrived, I began to feel uneasy due to the environment of
the location. When I attempted to locate my medical kit, I realised it
was gone. I booked a taxi to go to my hotel, where I discovered a Wi-
Fi connection despite widespread network difficulties. After
notifying my family of my location and attending a local clinic, I
misplaced my wallet while returning home. After explaining my
problem and appealing to several locals, they assisted me in reaching
the hotel.
I gained a lot of knowledge from my errors because it is true
that human beings make blunders. It would have been a more
satisfying trip if I had been more careful and attentive about my
reservations and carrying my medications.

9.Describe an ideal job you would want to have in the future.
Now I would like to tell you about my dream job. it is the job of
a marketer who works in a big company.
In this job, I will have to apply some marketing methods to
trigger customers’ demand as well as convey the message of the
product, the brand to the customers. I think the message is more
important than the demand because it guarantees the long-term
interest of the customers and they will buy the product over again.
To be suitable for this job, I need a well-trained course in
marketing which is pretty popular in my city.
This job is perfect for me because I will be the one that decides
how the brand’s message will reach the clients so that the value of
the product is decently conveyed. Moreover, this job allows me to
form a bridge of trust between the brand to customers. You know,
trust these days is quite hard to gain.

Let me talk about my cousin who is a financial advisor in one
of the biggest financial insurance companies in this country.
A few months ago, I made up my mind to find a financial
advisor who can help me educate finance-related matters. I have
some difficulty in understanding the cash flow statement of business.
So, I searched through the internet about the best financial
advisers in my city, to my surprise, the name of my cousin appeared
on the list. As I hadn't talked with him for ages, I had no updates
about his personal and professional life. So without a second thought,
I rang him and invited him for a meetup because I did believe that he
was the answer to my problem
