Roles • Develop and maintain in-house and customer-facing applications using Odoo CRM
platform.
• Collaborate with the back-end team to ensure seamless integration and
functionality
with other systems.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers during the
development
process.
• Implement both back-end and front-end solutions using Odoo's Python-based
framework.
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility for a
consistent
user experience.
• Utilize relational databases like PostgreSQL for data storage and retrieval within
Odoo
applications.
• Work on 3rd party integrations, particularly with systems in the financial and
automotive industries
• Build and consume REST-style APIs and GraphQL for seamless data exchange within
the Odoo ecosystem.
• Write effective unit tests to ensure sufficient code coverage and maintain
application
quality.
• Create technical content for documenting JIRA tasks/sub-tasks related to Odoo
development.
• Socialize JIRA stories/tasks you are responsible for with other team members.
• 3+ years of experience working with Odoo, including customization and module
development.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Python and web development
• Proficiency in JavaScript and front-end development, including modern JS
frameworks
(e.g., Vue, Angular, React).
• Familiarity with Linux environments and server configurations for deploying Odoo
applications.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases like my SQl, PostgreSQL for data
management in
Odoo. Bash, linux, AWS clound
• Experience with version control using Git and familiarity with GitFlow branching
Skills strategies.
• Bonus: Knowledge of AWS services and serverless stack (SAM, Serverless,
Containerization) for deploying Odoo on the cloud.
• Bonus: Experience with responsive web design and grid frameworks for enhancing
the
user interface.
• Bonus: Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra for specific
project needs.
• Bonus: Proficiency in CSS3 advanced features, including animations, transitions, and
flex-box layouts for enhancing Odoo UI.
• Bonus: Experience with unit testing frameworks like Pytest for ensuring code quality
and reliability in Odoo applications.
