Gato Gofre

This free crochet pattern provides instructions to make a souffle pancake kitty. The kitty is made in joined rounds using a chunky yarn and 5mm hook. Materials needed include yarn in brown, cream and yellow, a stitch marker, yarn needle, safety eyes and embroidery thread. The kitty's body is made in rounds starting with brown and changing to cream. Ears and butter are made separately and sewn on during assembly. Felt or embroidery can be used to add the kitty's face features. The pattern is designed for beginners and takes a quick, low-sew approach inspired by Pusheen the cat.

Assembly
• Sew the ears between R5-
R6, about 3 sts apart from
one another. Use the front
paws as ref erenc.e; ali9n the
ears with the paws.
• Sew the butter on top of
the kitty, on RI and R2. I
only sewed the c.orners and
the middle of the butter, so
that it will pop out more like
a toppin9.
• Use felt in the c.olour of
your c.hoic.e to c.reate the
kitty's f ac.e features ( eyes,
nose/ mouth, whiskers). Or
• You c.an also embroider the
f ac.e features with a thinner
yarn.
