♥ “The Magic Circle” is used to start the project. If Using pink yarn,
you do not prefer this technique, you can start Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 6 stitches
each piece using the following technique: ch 2, Round 2: inc x6= 12 sts
then sc x6 into the second chain away from the Round 3: (1 inc, sc in next st) x6 = 18 sts
hook. Sl st to join the round. This creates Round 4: (1 inc, sc in next 2 sts) x6 = 24 sts
Round 1. Round 5: sc into BLO of the next 24 sts = 24 sts
♥ For this model, I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream’s Round 6: sc in the next 24 sts = 24 sts
         100% cotton yarn
                                                                    Using gray yarn,
Have some fun with this pattern! Round 7: sc into FLO of the next 24 sts = 24 sts
~ You can make a longer pencil by crocheting more Round 8: sc into BLO of the next 24 sts = 24 sts
yellow rounds. Instead of stopping at Rnd 15, keep
going till it’s the length you want! Using yellow yarn,
~ You can also add funny faces (using embroidery Round 9: sc into BLO of the next 24 sts = 24 sts
thread and/or felt) or place your eyes horizontally on Round 10-15: sc in the next 24 sts = 24 sts
the pencil rather than vertically! Place eyes between Rounds 13 & 14. They should be about 4
~ Want fancier pencils? Maybe try different colors of sts apart.

                                                                    Round 20: dec x6= 6 sts

decide to give them to a child. The safety eyes and other small pieces, if somehow detached during play time, could be
a serious choking hazard. Also, if you decide to sell your finished amigurumi dolls, remember to include plenty of
warnings for people purchasing your products!
