RESPONSIBILITIES

 Identify the client requirement, If it is in the early preliminary stage of the project, then As per NRM-1 analyses to go for
rough order of cost estimate calculate GEA (BUA - industry call built-up area) according to client budget and using
benchmark with similar nature project which is awarded recently and give to client an idea of the building such as how
many offices or apartment and floors can built with his budget.
 If the client provides some more details such as number of elements and rooms of apartments to construct then going for
a little bit of advance order of cost estimate based on no of element that he need, then calculate cost of the project and
give a rough idea of the project Budget.
 If more design details are available, then going for a pre-tender estimate. And prepare the detailed BOQ, and vendor list
based on client requirements and get a price from the vendor.
 Do market analysis and use in-house cost data to price structural and architectural items including preliminaries and add
the inflation (tender and construction), and consider any specific risk associated with the project.
 And discuss with management to get contractor overhead and profit and finalize the final amount.
 Analyse Direct & Indirect cost (Material, Labour, Plant, miscellaneous expenses, rent )
 Manpower salary calculations (Basic salary accommodation,transport,bonus,ticket,adminstration,leavesalary. Visa,etc)
 Equipment cost, operation, fuel and maintenance cost
