Electrician work and what they do: research paper

I. Introduction

A. What electricians do and their requirements are very common questions when it comes to

someone trying to become one.

B. Their are lots of things electricians do and its relatively easy to become an electrician.

C. The job opportunities for electricians are endless. Their is a wide range of different jobs for

electricians and multiple types of electricians.

D. Becoming a electrician is simple, and dosent require to much after high school education.

E. Their are a lot of nice benefits form being an electrician.

II. What are do the job opportunities for electricians look like?

A. Their is always a high demand for electricians, now more than ever.

1. We humans rely on electricity now more than ever in ower day to day lives meaning their

is constantly an electrician needed to wire or hook up something electrical related.

2. Resent research has shown that the demand for electricians right now is at an alltime

high.

B. Their are several types of electricians, that all specialize in different electrical work.

1. Their are several different types of electricians including industrial, commercial, auto,

and marine electricians.

2. These different types of electricians tend to work in different work environments than one

another.

C. Their are many different work environments that an electrician could work in.

1. Electricians tend to have all sorts of work environments, they could be working inside

one day and outside the other.

2. Depending on the type of electrician you are could decide the type of work space you

work in. industrial elctriciand tend to do alot of outdoor and indoor work, residential electricians

tend to work in homes and auto electricians tend to work in mechanic shops.

III. Becoming an electrician is easier than most people would think.

A. You can become a licensed electrician with out even having to go to a college or trade

school.

1. You can become a licensed electrician through doing an apprenticeship.

2. Apprenticeships usually take longer than just going to a college or trade school , but you

can get payed for your work through an apprenticeship. This is also a good way to become an

electrician for people who dont do well in class rooms.

B. If you do decide to go to a college or trade school to become an electrician its still not a lot

of work required.

1. Schooling to become a electrician is quite easy since it only takes basic math skills and

lots of hand on work to be an electrician.

2. This route usually is faster than an apprenticeship, and is good for someone who is

looking to become licensed fast to earn a top paying electrician job.

C. You can become an electrician with out any prior experience in the electrical field.

1. Since electrician work is relatively easy it takes no prior experience to become on.

2. With basic skills most should be able to go into an apprenticeship or college to learn to be

an electrician pretty quick.

IV. There are a lot of great benefits of becoming an electrician.

A. In most career fields for electricians the pay seams to be pretty decent.

1. The average yearly income for an electrician is around $45,000 to $100,000 a year.

2. The more industrial style electricians tend to be the highest payed electricians.

B. Electrician learn alot of valuable skills that can be used outside of their jobs.

1. Electricians learn to be great problem solvers and hands on hard labor working.

2. Being an electrician means you will most likely be able to fix electrical problems at your

own home meaning you dont have to pay some one to fix them for you.

C. Their are plenty of job opportunities for electricians, and they should have no trouble

trying to find a job.

1. One of the best benefits to being an electrician is that you should always have work sice

their is a high demand for electricians.

2. Their is also a job that suits you, weather thats being in the industrial, residential or even

automotive field.

V. The electrical field of work is a great option for someone who is not quite sure what they want

to do for work, but is looking for a good easy to follow career.

A. Their are lots of things electricians do and its relatively easy to become an electrician.

B. Their are plenty of electrician jobes that are relatively easy to obtain.

C. Being an electrician might not be for you, but look into it because it is a good career for a

young person trying to find a good career path to follow.
