David Goggins was born in Buffalo, New York, United States, on February 17, 1975.

Growing up he had an abusive father


who always beat him and his mother. They had no choice but to escape the trauma and they relocated to Brazil after. The suffering did
not end there, as after they moved, Goggins faced poverty, racism, and bullying. After Goggins graduated from college at University of
California, Berkeley, he joined the military, but he was discharged after four years due to a health problem.

At the start of his adult life he was struggling with obesity at 300lbs. Then, he decided to change his life by signing up as a
Navy SEAL, but he had to lose 106 pounds in order to try out in a span of three months. Their training was not easy, but, after many
torture like obstacles, Goggins was able to pull through and get deployed. In 2005, Goggins married Aleeza Goggins following his
departure from the Navy. They did not have any children, but David turned into the stepfather of Jade Goggins.

David Goggins is an endurance athlete running miles everyday. What makes Goggins stand out is his self-discipline, mental
toughness, and millions of repetitions. Also, his accomplishments play a big part in him standing out. He became a Navy SEAL and
was the only one to complete three Hell Weeks. He has ran over 60 ultra-marathons, triathlons, and ultra triathlons, and held the
Guinness World Record for pull ups with 4,030 in 17 hours.

Goggins is also famous for being a motivational speaker. He inspires young men to not be lazy. His experiences and his voice
is why a lot of people listen to him. He has changed countless lives by just speaking. He teaches people how to have a strong mindset
and overcome pain and weaknesses.

This was just a brief overview of David Goggins’ life story and achievements. His stories are truly inspiring and worth reading
in more detail through his book “Can’t Hurt Me”. He is definitely the toughest man on earth.
