MANNER OF ANSWERING
11. Each team will be provided with answer sheets and scratch

a. The final answers should be written on the Official Answer
Sheet and should be enclosed by a circle or a rectangle.
b. Answers not enclosed by a circle or a rectangle will not be
considered.
c. In case the contestants need to change their answers, they
shall cross out the previous answers and rewrite the final
answers, clearly enclosed by a circle or a rectangle.
d. Watchers will be assigned to ensure that no alterations are
made on the Official Answer Sheets at the end of the
designated time limit.
12.Each question will be read twice.
13.Time Limit starts upon cue by the Quizmaster, after the question
has been read twice.
14.At the end of the time limit, one (1) member of the Team stands

they have incorrectly answered the question).
b. Watchers will then get the correct answer sheets and
submit them to the Quizmaster, who shall read out the
answer(s) depending upon the discretion of the Panel of
Judges.
15. Wrong spelling in the written answers will constitute a wrong
answer.
16. In case of mathematical answers, a wrong unit will make the
answer wrong.
a. Mathematical questions with numerical answers will specify
the required degree of accuracy or number of decimal
places, and failure to comply with the same will
automatically render the answers unacceptable.
b. Further questions on accuracy of numerical answers will be
referred to the Board of Judges.
17. No deductions will be made for wrong answers or no-answer
questions.
18.A maximum of three (3) non-programmable calculators will be

question will be randomly selected by the Panel of Judges from
the three (3) subjects until the tie is broken.

stage may raise questions or clarifications on the answers already
given.
21.Clarification regarding the questions and answers should be
