SAFETY PRECAUTION

1. All lifting equipment such as lifting belt, D shackle and crane test
certificate should be checked.
2. The men assigned to the job should undergo a health check-up and
the supervisor should make sure that they are skilled in their jobs.
3. The safety helmets and goggles shall always be worn properly and
during work, such as drilling, cutting, and welding.
4. During the work, the area must be cordoned off by barricades to prevent
persons from falling into excavated trenches, hitting structural
components, or getting injured by falling objects.
5. The warning signs shall be displayed where necessary to indicate hazards,
6. Steel-toed shoes are required for all personnel involved with lift activity to
protect from crushing of feet/toes.
7. Gloves are required when handling materials or guiding a load.
8. Safety glasses are required when the potential exists for objects to fall into
the eyes (eg. working under the bridge of a crane and looking up)
9. All connections in crane girders, columns, etc. shall be bolted
entirely, riveted, or welded as specified in the drawing before
erection.
10. Safety belts must always be made available at the worksite to be used
whenever required.
