KEYLESS RECEIVER INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/
CONNECTION.)
2. Remove the following parts:
(1) Rear package tray (See REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2) Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3) Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(4) Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Partially peel back the trunk side trim (RH) to the position allowing removal of the keyless receiver.(See TRUNK
SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Disconnect the connector from the keyless receiver.
5. Remove the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
6. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
7. Reconnect the connector.
8. Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).
• If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection
item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
― If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring
harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Disconnect the connector from the keyless receiver.
4. Remove the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
6. Reconnect the connector.
7. Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).
• If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection
item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
― If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring
harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
