Working with Mpumelele wae such 2 wonderful experience for me, and | am convinced a new voice fer traditonal South AMiean music arrangements has baen born | am thaniful to Mpumelele for his knowledge and passion of our craft. These medleys are based on popula: hymns taken from the Zulu and Sotho tribes that ean be heatd throughout churshes in South Africa. Athough Zuluis part ofthe Nguni culture and Sofno beiongs o the people cf the Basotho, traditonal South Afrcan music (as a collctive) shares many commonalties, and often the music ‘tom one culture is adopted and adapted by another.
