GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
© This section pertains to removal and installation of the AC generator. These operations can be accomplished with the
engine in the frame after remaving the left erankease cover
‘© For alternator inspection, refer to section 16.

Flywheel Holder (07725~-0040000 or Band Strap Wrench (commercially available in U.S.A.)
Rotor Puller 07733~-0020001 (or 07933-3290001)
TORQUE VALUES
AC generator 100-120 N-m (10—12 kom, 72-87 fe-lb)
Left erankease cover 8-12.Nem (0.8-1.2 kgm, 6-9 fib)
Gearshift pedal 8-12. Nom (0.8-1.2 kom, 6-9 fib)
Drain plug 30-40 Nim (3,0~4.0 kom, 22-29 ft-lb)

Disconnect the AC Generator couple
Remove the sprocket cover.
Disconnset the clutch cable and gear shift pedal

Disconnect the neutral switch wire. re
Remove the left crankcase cover.

LIFTER ARM LIFTER ARM SPRING
CLUTCH LIFTER ARM DISASSEMBLY
Remove the dowel pin and lifter arm,
Remove the lifter arm spring
DOWEL PIN,
FLYWHEEL
Shift the transmission into top gear.
Hold the drive sprocket with a universal holder, or
hold the flywheel with a band strap wrench,
Remove the rator bolt

Remove the rotor using the rotor puller

FLYWHEEL INSTALLATION
Install the rotor by aligning the woodruff key with
the rotor keyway.
Shift the transmission into top gear.
Hold the drive sprocket with a universal holder
or hold the flywheel with a band strap wrench,
Tighten the rotor bolt.
TORQUE: 100120 Nm
(10-12 kg-m, 72-87 feb)
LEFT CRANKCASE COVER
INSTALLATION
Install the clutch lifter arm and spring,
Install the clutch lifter pin.
Install the erankease dowol pins and 9 new gasket,
if they were removed are gasket.
Install the left crankcase cover and tighten the
TORQUE: 8-12N-m
(0.8-1.2 kgm, 6-9 fib)

Connect the neutral switch wire.
Connect and route the AC Generator coupler.
Install the clutch cable and geer shift pedal
Install the sprocket cover.
Fill the oil tank with the recommended oil up to
the proper level
Install the fuel tank and seat
‘Adjust the clutch free play (See Page 3-16).
