OUTREACH WORKER POSITION APPLICATION

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to apply for the position of an outreach worker position with Malawi Aids Counseling and Resource
Organiser (MACRO). I have a diploma in social work from Magomero Community Development College, and I have been
working in the field of social work.

In my previous position as a social worker intern at Nsanje (2019) and Kasungu (2021) social welfare offices while I was a
student, I provided support services including counseling to clients experiencing gender-based violence, stigma and
discrimination, including case-management, mental health counseling and child care referrals among others. My
experience also include working as a case-worker intern with COMSIP cooperative union limited under Climate Smart
Enhanced Public Works Programme (CSEPWP) which I was helping in the formation of village and servings loan groups
( VSL), selection and training of community facilitators, report writing, and capacity building.

I am committed to helping others and would love the opportunity to do so with MACRO clients under the outreach
position. I understand that your organization is devoted in fighting against HIV/AIDS and other health related issues, I
would therefore honored to bring my professionalism and dedication to clients. In my previous experience as a social
worker intern, I have had some working experience with the marginalized groups of people and other community
structures in making sure that every client is linked and provided with the services he/she needs.
