You make me want to scream and huff and puff.

With each passing day, my workload grows,

Leaving me with little time for anything else, I suppose.

Math equations, history dates,

English essays, science debates,

My brain is overwhelmed, my energy drained,

But still, I must push on, for good grades must be attained.

Hours spent at my desk, staring at the screen,

My eyes grow weary, my mind starts to lean,

But I must stay focused, for my future is at stake,

And this homework is just another hurdle I must take.

Oh, how I long for the days of carefree youth,

When homework was just a word, not a burden of truth.

But alas, those days are gone, and now I must cope,

With the never-ending struggle of homework and hope.

So to all my fellow students, I say this with care,
