Ryan Learned a Lesson

Ryan loved to climb up the trees in the backyard to pick the ripe guavas despite of his
mother’s several warnings. One day Ryan climbed the tree. He saw three big ripe guavas and
tried to reach them. Unfortunately, the dry branch he was holding on broke, so he fell on the
ground.

“How many times have I told you not to climb the tree?” his mother told him. It’s a
good thing you didn’t break your leg,” she added. Ryan realized how lucky he had been. “I’ll
never climb any tree again.” He promised.

Cardo was a boy who was fond of using bad words. Once he was crossing
a shallow river, he fell into the water. He screamed loud and uttered several bad
words. The good fairy of the river heard him and became very angry. She thought
of punishing him.

out of his mouth,

One time, Cardo uttered bad words; a big worm came out of his mouth. He
was so scared. So he asked for forgiveness and promised to be good always. Since
the fairy saw sincerity on his words, she forgave Cardo.
