June 2021
Presently working

Working as Electrical Engineer II in PECVD & ALD BU and handling projects of new tool
developments.

 Working on PECVD new product developments


 Planning and execution of the new and on-going projects
 DOE planning for data analysis and running DOEs
 Testing of electronics equipment’s and tool modification as per customer requirements
 Testing and setting up of new hardware
 Handling tool issues which arises during demo
 PECVD tool retrofit planning and improvements
 OJT to understand the tools of ASM
 Tool development projects to increase the cleaning efficiency for the PECVD tools
 TEOS PECVD tool experience, handling new requests from process team to deliver the
new design needs
 Handling urgent request from manufacturing for tool builds and to resolve the issues
arise during installation
 Modified tool from single zone heater to dual zone heater, schematic creation and
configuration file updates along with temperature setting update

Projects & Learning:

 MFC temperature rising issue on dual chamber module:


 MFC temperature rising issues which leads to rising the MFC temp to
more than spec limit
 Monitored temperature with TC and evaluated at different condition for
any temperature change

 Heater Jacket issues:


 Worked on mitigating the issues due to temp difference in gas line due
to insufficient temp delivery of heater jackets

 Tool development with 1RPU/1RC :


 New tool and process development for the higher cleaning rate

 PCV butterfly valve pressure issue :


 Issue related PCV valve for pressure leakage
 Tested in various condition with purging out the tool
 Replaced PCV with GPS help

During my tenure at Orbit I have been working on various projects, providing off-shore
support, preparing new technical documents for the field persons, my job roles carry
following duties:

 Working on Etch and Dep tools for Lam research


 Designing the system level interconnect schematic for deposition tools
 Worked on power boxes for the semiconductor tools
 Design reviews before releasing the electrical changes/ designs
 Product lifecycle management to look for obsolescence of various electronics
components
 Been a major part of all the customer escalation
 Worked on refurb projects for the tools, electrical decision make for all the changes
 On time solution for line down situations
 Creation of design using any of ECAD tool (E3S, Electrical AutoCAD)
 International Electrical safety & Design standards (NEC, IEC, UL)
 Evaluates part requests to eliminate duplication or simplicity with existing parts
 Working through SAP, works drives through Problem reports
 PCB testing and troubleshooting
 Selection of Switch gear, Protections circuit, sensors & Controllers
 Resolutions for issues raised by supplier during assembly builds, to-and-fro
communication with supplier
 Prepare, revise and verify technical procedures/documentation for addressing issues/
requirements of offshore and onshore personnel
 Component obsolescence and FFF compatibility
 Working on ECR and ECO process to address the engineering changes for the problems
that has happened in the field
 Conduct BOM reviews for business customers providing feedback on part
standardization, lifecycle status, environmental issues, and recommendations on
replacement parts
 Make specification sheets for electrical & electronic products
 Analysis of electronic component datasheets.
 Research manufacturer websites to source required data.
 Input parametric data, from a manufacturer specification document, into a database.
 Quality Assurance/Validation of parametric database contents.
 As a quality lead my job is to maintain an acceptable level of accuracy in the documents,
Electrical drawings and specifications sheets prepared by other engineers
 Attain a minimum acceptable level of input per day.
 Responsible for data fixes and data enhancements.
Projects & Learning:

 This project was on SPEED product family 200mm Wafer fabrication tool,
worked as an EE lead for all the electrical changes
 Verifying the BOM and to take corrective measures to prepare the
electrical BOM for the tool and to create a whole new tool interconnect
 Worked closely with mechanical team to understand the tool
architecture to understand the tool working
 Verification of each cables connected to tool to understand the working
of the tool

 Handled Product management projects


 It was to address the obsolescence of the controllers at leading
customer side
 Driving meeting with stake holders and FSE’s
 Lead EE to address the infant mortality failure’s
 BOM structure and engineering changes release of the controllers
 Design reviews with stake holders

 Power box projects:


 Worked on etch power boxes
 On time solution to customers site for quick resolution of electrical
faults
 BTP documents for the power boxes to make it ease for customer to
build the assemblies
