I usually get the news from social media platforms such as tiktok and facebook. Part of the
reason (ri sần) is that they are all extremely accessible (ặc sét sơ bồ) and engaging (ìn gây dình)
for me. I could gain a lot of information just by surfing the web. I don't often read articles in
traditional newspapers or magazines. I prefer newsflash to bulletin (buu lơ tin) because I enjoy
watching the news about drama (ram mào) and follow the lives of my favorite singers. On the
other hand, it means that I’ll be able to read spam, unreliable (un rì lai a bồ) news. That’s why
I’m usually selective about the sources.
Yes, I also think me and most of my friends use too much social media. Because It's a great way
to keep in touch with people. For instance, we often chat each other to bring up our hobbies,
interesting (ín rịt tinh) breaking news, or simply tell stories in our daily lives. Furthermore, We
want to keep ourselves up to date with the latest (lây tịt) news. I think social media is an
important part of our lives, but it's easy to get carried away and spend too much time scrolling
through our feeds. Personally, I try to limit my time on social media as much as possible.
I used to think that I didn't like working in social media because I was an introvert, I hate
exchanging and interacting with too many strangers, but after learning more about it I tried to
work this job because I want to have new experiences and improve my communication skills.
And after contacting with the job in social media, I felt that it was not what I had imagined (ì
mae gìn) before. It has helped me broaden(ro đần) my horizons.(hò rai zần)
It seem to me that, the most popular social media in Vietnam is FB. I guess (gét) this is because
FB was one of the first social media platforms to gain popularity (pồ pu lơi riti) in Vietnam, and
many people have been using it for a long time. Also, Facebook has many features that are useful
for Vietnamese people, such as group chats and online marketplace groups. Additionally,
Facebook is widely accessible and can be easily used on mobile phones. With its user friendly
interface it is the best choice for all ages range. (Rèn)
One of my favorite social media app is FB. I use FB almost daily, usually scrolling through my
feed during my free time. I mainly use it to follow my favorite celebrities and to share my
pictures and status updates (ập đát) with my followers. I find the platform entertaining and a
great way to network with people who share similar interests (ín trịt). Through Facebook, I met
and made many other new friends on it. Sometimes I turn into Tiktok to suft funny short videos
to pass the time or to learn gym tutorial from personal trainers.
