LEVEL 1 KITS "Water Jacket Renewal"

These kits contain all necessary water jacket coppers, O-rings, hardware, and shaft alignment tool. This kit is design for the repair of a unit that is leaking water due to overheating and is in
otherwise good condition. This kit will require skilled assembly technicians to install the copper on the water jackets. This is best done in a shop environment with appropriate lifting systems and
tools. Each water jacket will take about 4 hours to repair. This kit should NOT be selected if downtime is critical .

LEVEL 2 KITS "Overhaul Water Jackets & Friction Drive Plates"

These kits contain all the parts included in KIT #1 with the addition of friction material. This kit is designed to be used for the rebuilding of a unit to "like new" condition of all normal wear parts. It
would be appropriate for a unit that has seen significant wear and tear but is in otherwise good condition. This kit will require skilled assembly technicians to install the copper on the water jackets
and replace the friction material on the drive plates. This is best done in a shop environment with appropriate lifting systems and tools. Each water jacket will take about 4 hours to repair. The drive
plates will take about 1 hour each. This kit should NOT be selected if downtime is critical.

The parts list below would provide a field service technician with all necessary parts to handle an unexpected situation with one of the brakes. The list contains one completely assembled water
jacket of each style, extra O-rings, a full hardware set for each water jacket, springs, shims, an airtube, pressure plate, and an alignment tool. I would expect to be able to disassemble and
reassemble a brake without being caught short of a part. This assumes the unit is not leaking water. If a unit is leaking water and the copper is damaged, it will be necessary to purchase one of the
full repair kits. The only significant shipping weights are the water jacket assemblies. The center jacket weighs about 650 lbs, the float jacket weighs about 450 lbs, and the alignment tool weigh
about 75 lbs. Figure another 200 to 300 lbs for the rest of the hardware and packing materials.
