Greetings from the League of Municipalities of the Philippines!

In the past year, the Philippines faced the most challenging times with the COVID-19
pandemic extremely affecting the budget and resources of Philippine Government. In
times when resources are limited, one of the most challenging parts is the sourcing of
funds for the Local Government Units (LGUs). While LGUs can tap resources that are
available from government projects and programs, only a limited number of LGUs were
able to access these resources.

To address this gap, the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) will
conduct a 1-day Physical Planning (LMP Regional Level) on December 7-8,
2021 at SMX Convention Center, Davao City to discuss different funding support
mechanisms of the national government and assist the municipal mayors in securing
funds to help improve service delivery performance. There will be a registration fee of
EIGHTEEN THOUSAND PESOS (Php18,000) that will cover one-night single room
accommodation, meals, kits, and other materials.
