Lesson #2
Curtis and his sister wanted to go somewhere remote for the weekend,
away from the city. They thought the fresh air would revive their energy
and help them recuperate from the demands of rehearsing for the school
band performance. They had also been busy refining movements for the
dances in the school musical. They knew their parents would relate to
their feelings and agree to go. Theirc parents had been volunteering long
hours rebuilding a recreation center that had been damaged in a flood.
They also hoped their friends would respect their plan and not be mad

that they were gone. The parents agreed and everyone left for the
mountains, making sure to pack sunscreen and bug repellant . For two
whole days, they removed all thoughts of school and work and from their
minds, then came back feeling refreshed and relaxed
