General Description : Multilayer flexible polyolefin plastic packaging material
75% PE CAS NO.: 9002-88-4
25% PP CAS NO.: 9010-79-1
3. HAZARD INDENTIFICATION
Classification : Not hazardous material according to SGS Certificate

Negative effects on : The material is unlikely to cause harmful effects to human


Human Health health under normal or foreseeable conditions of handling,
storage and us. Molten material in contact with skin can
cause severe burns.

Negative effects on : The product is inert and not harmful under normal
Environment conditions of use.The material is not biodegradable.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES


Inhalation : In case of inhalation of fumes and smoke deriving
From burning material,remove patient from
exposure.Obtain medical attention if ill effects and
breathing problem occur.

Skin Contact : Molten material can cause severe burns.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES


General information : The material is combustible but not readily
Ignited.Persistent

Combustion products : Burning of the material is accompanied by melting and


dripping which may cause the fire to spread. combustion of
the material will evolve smokes and fumes and will generate
combustion by-products of varying composition in addition
to CO and CO2

6. HANDLING AND STORAGE


Handling : Materials having sharp edges can easily caruse cuts; wear
gloves to avoid cuts.
Storage : In order to maintain optimum properties, the material has
to be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct
sunglingt, at max 25℃. The material has to be kept away
from heat and sources of ignition.

7. EXPOSURE CONTROL AND PERSONAL PROTECTION


Exposure Limits : For this material, neither occupational nor biological
exposure limits are set. Wear gloves to avoid cuts from
sharp edges of film. No other specific personal protection is
needed; however, it is recommended to wear adequate
clothing for the type of work done and safety glasses if
needed. Good general ventilation and local exhaust
ventilation on equipment to remove fumes from heat
sealing and/or hot wire cutting.

8. PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES


Appearance : Film roll.
Physical state : Solid.
Colour : Clear or coloured, depending on customer request.
Odour : Odorless.
Melting point : 100⁰C to 160⁰C
Decomposition Temperature : >200⁰C
Solubility(Water) : Insoluble
Specific Gravity : 0.91-0.93 g /cm3
Ignition Temperature : >340℃

9. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY


Stability : The material is stable and insert in normal conditions of
handing, use and storage.
Conditions to avoid : Temperature above 25℃,exposure to extremes of heat,cold
or humidity and source of ignition should be avoided.

10. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION


Danger for Human Health : The material is a biologically inactive and nondangerous
solid at room temperature, in normal and foreseeable
Conditions of use.
Skin Contact : No evidence of irritant effects from normal handling and
use. sharpe edges may cause cuts.
Eye Contact : In case of contact with eyes,possible mechanical irritation
might occur.Combustion fumes and by-products may be
irritant. Highly unlikely under normal condition of use.

11. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION


Degradability : The material is not degradable.
Ecotoxicity : The material is persistent and not environmentally degradable. In
the soil compartment the material is inherently very difficult to
degrade. So no ecotoxicity isexpected.

12. DISPOSAL INFORMATION


Disposal consideration : The material can be recycled as commingled plastic, the energy
recovered via incineration or disposed of in an approved landfill site.

13. TRANSPORT INFORMATION


General information : No specific safety recommendation. The material is not Classified as
dangerous for any mode of transportation (air, Train,truck).
