Objectives of motor vehicle act 1988

1) Driver must have driving license


2) Maintain standardization in anti pollution control device
3) It provide age limit for driver
4) It provide provision of license for conductor

Q2. State and explain types of traffic signal
Following are the types of traffic signal
1) Regulatory signs: This signal are also called
mandatory signal. This signal are circular in shape with
red border
2) Warning signs: Warning sign are give information to
driver regarding road condition. This sign are for own
safety for driver

to driver regarding petrol pump, first aid, eating etc.

act
1) Act: Motor vehicle act 1988
2) Agriculture tractor: A mechanical device which is
used to design for move trailer for agriculture used and
material.
3) Agriculture trailer: A device which is used to move
and transfer agriculture product which coupled with
agriculture tractor with two hook.
4) Motor car: Means any vehicle other than port vehicle
5) Motor cycle: Means two wheeler vehicle.
6) Light motor vehicle: means transport vehicle its
weight is not more than 7500 kg

adjustment, using mechanical or electrical devices.
4) Applies inspection sticker to vehicles that pass inspection, and
rejection sticker to vehicles that fail.
5) Prepares report on each vehicle for follow-up action by owner or
police.
6) Prepares and keeps record of vehicles delivered.
7) Positions trailer and drives car onto truck trailer.
8) Notifies authorities of owners having illegal equipment installed
on vehicle.

dashboard, steering wheel, windshield at time of accident

device
It is advance steering column. The main function of
collapsible steering column is to transfer motion and power
