EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Community action plan is a plan that aims to contribute for the wellness of a
community. This paper tells about the action plan conducted by some students of Evelio Javier
Memorial National High School from Grade 12-HUMSS. It is a continuation of the previous
community action plan that the students did for their school-based activity wherein the students
continued to paint the other blank walls fencing the school. This took longer as it should be due
to the need of the students to comply to their other school requirements and because of their lack
for materials they need. Still, the students were able to accomplish the task assigned to them.

COMMUNITY PROFILE
The action took place inside the community of Camp 6 where Evelio Javier Memorial
National High School is located--- the main location for the action plan. Camp 6 is a community
under Barangay Camp 4, Tuba, Benguet; headed by their Barangay Captain Romeo Salinas.
While Evelio Javier Memorial National High School is one of the public schools found in the
barangay along Kennon Road which is headed by their school principal, Mr. Leonardo B. Delias.
INTRODUCTION TO THE PLAN
The plan we conducted was a continuation of our community action plan last month. At
that time, we repainted the name of the school beside the gate, so now, we painted the other
blank walls fencing the school to make it look more appealing to the eyes of those who passes it
by.
Us, students of Evelio Javier Memorial National High School (EJMNHS) from Grade 12-
HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences) namely: Ian Balicnog, John Lloyd Bangsoy, Gino
Bayeng, Raven Jade Calibuso, Mark Steve Gavino, Novalee Bayeng, Daniela Mae Cas-ing,
Elhyza Grace Del Mundo, Dexter Gamboc, Breniet Magastino, Elize Andrie Segundo, Rish Ann
Wagas, and Yola Wagsayan are the people involved in the development of the plan, and which,
by the way, were responsible also in managing the implementation of it.
Materials used in the implementation of the plan were the left materials used when there
was unexpected brigada at that time in school. Contributions were made to fill in the paint
brushes needed, though some of it were borrowed from the classroom. We just made used of the
materials we had at hand and what fits in to the span of time we had.
Creating an action plan for the wellness of the community is a great start of showing your
credibility in contributing for the growth and greater good of everyone inside of the community.
It shows that working together builds unity and harmonious work force in reaching a common
goal.
REFLECTION
BRENIET MAGASTINO
Painting the wall of our school was a fun and rewarding experience. It was great to see
our school being transformed into a more colorful and vibrant place. At first, I was a bit hesitant
and nervous about the task, but it turned out to be easier than I thought. The most challenging
part was to choose the right color and design that would make the wall stand out. We spent a lot
of time discussing different options.
The painting process itself was labor-intensive, but we were up for the challenge. We
started early in the morning and finished by mid-afternoon.it was a great opportunity for us to
work together as a team and develop our collaboration and communication skills. We also
learned how to handle different types of brushes and paint, and the importance of paying
attention to details.
Overall, I believe that painting the wall of our school was a valuable experience. It gave
us a sense of pride and ownership in our school, and it also showed the community that we care
about our environment. I hope that this project will inspire others to do their part in improving
their surroundings, and that it will encourage more creative and artistic opportunities in our
school.
RISH ANN WAGAS
As a student, I recently had the opportunity to engage in a community action plan by
contributing to a new painting at the gate of our school. This experience was both rewarding and
challenging, as I had to work with a team of fellow students to design and execute a creative
vision that would represent our school in a positive light.
Before beginning this project, our team spent several weeks brainstorming different ideas
and concepts that we wanted to convey through the painting. We wanted to create something
unique and meaningful that would capture the spirit f our school and inspire pride and unity
among our fellow students.
Once we had settled on a general concept for the painting, we worked together to create a
detailed sketch and plan for the design. We carefully selected colors and shapes that would
compliment each other and convey our message in a clear and effective way.
The actual process of painting the mural was both fun and challenging. We had to work
together to blend the colors and create intricate details that would make the painting come alive.
There were times when we disagreed about certain aspects of the design, but we were able to
work through our differences and come to a consensus that everyone was happy with.
Looking back on this experience, I realize that it taught me many valuable lessons about
teamwork, creativity, and community engagement. By working together to create something
beautiful and meaningful, we were able to make a positive impact on our school and bring
people together in a shared vision of excellence and pride.
I am proud to have been a part of this project, and I hope that it will serve a s a source of
inspiration and unity for years to come. As a student, I have learned the power of community
engagement and the importance of working together to create positive change.
ELIZE ANDRIE SEGUNDO
Being involved in the painting process taught me valuable skills such as teamwork,
communication, and problem-solving. It was amazing to see how everyone came together to
achieve a beautiful outcome that would benefit the community as a whole.
The project also made me realize the importance of giving back to the community and
how small actof kindness can go a long way. The painted wall not only beautified the area but
also served as a symbol of unity and collaboration.
Overall, the community project broadened my horizons, developed my character, and
allowed me to make a positive impact in my community.
YOLA WAGSAYAN
Implementing our community action plan this time around has been quite challenging for me
because we had faced conflicts regarding to the materials we’re about to use, moods were not in lined
with the activity at hand, arguments with other members, and time has been our enemy. Though, at the
end, we managed to overcome those challenges.
In those challenges we had faced during the implementation of our community action plan, we
had learned to make use whatever materials we had at hand because all of us had been tight on money due
to the fact that we also had other important things to spend it for. Albeit, we still had a little contribution
spent for the purchase of the paint brushes. Furthermore, the artists in our groups may have been already
mentally drained because they had been experiencing art block and had no mood to paint. Then, conflicts
aroused between members because of the division of labor and absenteeism during the implementation of
the plan. Another thing was that we had conflict with the time because it didn’t always align with
everybody’s free time to paint. We also had some other things to comply for our other subjects--- I,
myself had a hard time managing my time.
Still, at the end, challenges are just challenges given to make us better in the coming future. We
had overcome them and we can still manage to say that we had a fulfilling experience that we learned
from on how rewarding it is that you can have the ability to contribute in our community as long as you
have the will to do so. Although, it would have been much better if we had more time to work on the
project because maybe we had done a lot better. As to what the previous reflections had said, there are a
lot of things to learn from, skills to improve, and things to reflect upon.
