ABOUT THE COMPANY
""Rakhat JSC is one of the largest manufacturers of confectioneries in the
Kazakhstan with its history of 70 years.
First production of the confectioneries had been arranged in 1942 on the areas of alcoholic beverage factory,
using the equipments evacuated from Moscow and Kharkov in the wartime.
More than 3500 people work at the "Rakhat JSC. Production facilities are located on the two sites - in the
Almaty and in the Shymkent.
Universal nature of the manufacture, its scale and own line of the cocoa beans processing enable the company
to hold the broadest assortment of the confectioneries among the domestic manufacturers. As of today the
assortment of "Rakhat JSC includes more than 250 items of various confectioneries, which refers to 10 various
groups.
"Rakhat JSC is the only confectionery enterprise in the Kazakhstan, which developed special production
focused on the people, who suffer from diabetes. Assortment of these products includes several items of
chocolates, candies, cookies and waffles with the low calorie content and substitution of the sugar for
equivalent natural food raw materials.
The distinctiveness of the products of "Rakhat JSC among other Kazakh manufacturers of confectionery is the
priority production of the chocolate with the large variety.
The internal quality system, based on the single responsibility, and overall quality control system had been
developed and functioned on the enterprise. This system includes quality control of the food raw materials and
products on the all phases of production. The system of the quality management, based on the standards of ST
RK SO 9001-2001, had been developed and introduced at the "Rakhat JSC.
Our products are well-known on the domestic market as well as on the markets of the near and far abroad. The
"Rakhat JSC fulfills the policy of the maximum accessibility of its products on the internal market. Sales
geography of the "Rakhat JSC covers whole Kazakhstan, as far as the company realizes the goods in 18
cities, including 14 regional centers. Production distribution in the Almaty realizes by heavy bulk buyers as well
as by company retail outlets. Accessibility of the products of "Rakhat JSC in the other regions has been
provided by the establishment of the wide network of distributors (branches), those sale high-quality company
products. Currently products of the "RAKHAT JSC are represented not only on the market of Kazakhstan, but
quite beyond the borders of the Kazakhstan: in the territories of Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan,
Germany, China, and Afghanistan as well. For the reasons that the countries of CS and of far abroad are
interested with the products of "Rakhat JSC, the company plans to increase the production volume and to
expand the marketing outlets through bulking of exports volume.
Company takes care of the consumer interests as well as of its employees. Company creates favorable
conditions for the personnel for fully and efficiently labours. Company has the canteen with the hot meals for
the employees of the first and second shifts; also it has the medical unit with the doctors of higher category,
health and fitness center with the sauna and training room. There are the studies classes with the academics
for advanced training of the differently-skilled specialists. There have been organized the courses of official
language.

We Iove your chocoIate a Iot and aIways bring it with me where ever go aII over around the worId
with me. However recentIy had a very embarrassing situation with my Arab coIIeagues. brought my
favorite chocoIate "Kazakhstan" as a gift to my Arab coIIeagues. And they refused to eat it as it says
that it contains "cocoa Iiqueur", however Russian transIation says: "Cocoa Tertoe". Does chocoIate
"Kazakhstan" ingredients incIudes Iiqueur or it does not?

Thank you for the signal you sent. t was a translation mistake indeed (actually it should be cocoa liquor). Our
chocolate certainly doesn't contain liqueur and contains cocoa liquor (=cocoa mass). The company will assume
the measures to emend the texts. We're sending our apology for the mistake to you and your friends.
