 It is characterized by a tribal

                        6. Pintados
                        Costume
                        The Pintados Festival costume is a
                        unique and colorful ensemble that is
                        worn by participants in the parade of
                        the festival, which takes place
                        annually in the city of Tacloban,
                        Philippines. The costume is a
                        representation of the traditional tattoos
                        that were worn by the Waray people,
                        the indigenous people of the island of
                        Leyte, in pre-colonial Philippines
                        Props
                        The props that they are using is
                        their body paint or tattoo in their
                        body to show the visayan ancestor
                        came to accept Christianity and
                        develop great love for Santo Niño.
                        Another props is the image or statue
                        of the festival which is Santo Niño.
