People now have the freedom to work and live anywhere in the world due to the
development of communication technology and transportation.
Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?
In contemporary times, employees could earn their living and choose their resi-
dence from all around the globe because of technical innovations. The most negative
effect of wording in foreign countries is lacking a sense of self-discipline (FOR
WHO?). However, from my perspective, the positive effects of this trend are increas-
ing job opportunities and diverse cultural experience. In this essay I will provide a
more detailed explanation and provide examples to support my argument.
To begin with, I believe the primary drawback of being employed oversea results in
the loss of self-discipline (HNNNNN FOR WHO?). Although workers can be hired any-
where via internet or beneficial transportation, they sometimes cannot have regular
working schedule and three square meals (WHY FOOD?). It would happen while
workers have other colleagues in other countries where their teammates live in dif-
ferent time zones. WO TING BU DONG! In a recent survey undertaken in Hong Kong,
half of the respondents who had worked abroad for a period expressed that they
preferred working in the traditional office. (no relation to DISCIPLINE in the exam-
ple!)
Nevertheless, I believe that there are two obvious bene-
fits from the working and living around the globe. They are
NOT obvious because you DON’T STATE THEM IN YOUR TOPIC SENTENCE! First of all,
employees might have more chance to opt suitable occupation and work through on-
line systems without the limited time and space which always are restricted in same
location or nations. WHAT IS THIS? JOB OPPORTUNITIES? Moreover, living and work-
ing around the world provides an employee a variety of opportunities to experience
diverse culture and broaden the horizon in life. 😮💨As a result😮💨,
CHECK THE STRUCTURE! a worker might gather knowledge of the
culture and language of foreign is a positive aspect of human development.
In conclusion, losing a sense of self-discipline is the main drawback of getting a job
aboard. However, I consider that the increasing options of occupations and immers-
ing life in diverse cultures outweighs the negative effects.
