Definitions

Apprehension - anticipation of adversity or misfortune; suspicion or fear of future trouble or evil.

Proficiency - refers to the level of advancement in a particular profession, skillset, or knowledge. In


academics, this proficiency is usually defined for students and teachers to judge their level of expertise
in a particular subject or class

Xenoglosphobia - also termed as foreign language anxiety is the feeling of uneasiness, worry,
nervousness, and apprehension in learning, using, or speaking foreign languages. Foreign language
anxiety is attributed to a number of causes.
