Character A has a notebook and is writing something while

the other students laugh and talk.

Character A is still writing while everyone is leaving the

classroom.

They then tear up the page as they do so they are finally

aware that there is no one in the classroom and look at the
time.
Character A: Where is Everyone?

Character A then packs up and says bye to his teacher

Bye, Mrs/Mr. Teacher

Teacher:
You're still here? The bell rang
like 5 minutes ago?

Character A:
Yeah, I was focusing on my poem a
little too much

Teacher:
Hey, don't worry. I'm sure your
poem will be great.

Character A:
Yeah, thank you. I'm trying to
place fir-

Character A then notices how busy his teacher looks.

Character A
You alright, Mrs/Mr. Teacher?

OTS
teacher:
Yeah, Yeah, I'm great, just a
little busy. Hey, get out before I
write you up.

Character A:
Yes, Ma'am/Sir.

Character A is now walking and looking at his notes while

two couples argue in the background as he passes by.

OTS
Boyfriend A:
Like I told you, I'm no longer
interested, okay?

Girlfriend A:
But why now? After everything we've
been through?

Boyfriend A:
I'm out of here, let go of me

Character A is still walking by, as Student A looks down at

his locker and his paper.

CU of student's A paper that he failed

Student A
(Groans)
My ma is going to ground me

Student A then hits the locker.

9 EXT. OUTSIDE PCTI 9

WS

Character A walks to his bus with his notes while three

friends pass by.

MCU
Friend A:
So you want to go by the movies
tonight?

Friend B:
 Colors 4.

Heck yeah, omg did you hear about

the new Ryroaster horror movie?

Friend C:
Have you guys heard about the Sam
and Colby movies coming this
October?

WS of Friend C getting ignored by Friend A and Friend B.

MCU dollying out into a WS

Friend C
(Sighs)
Guess not.

Character A Gets off the bus

WS of character A walking

Character A VO
Man, what should I write? I can't
think of anything

Cowboy shot

character A then sits down on a bench and tries to think

High angle shot

but then a noisy bird interrupts his thoughts, and he

leaves

Character A then passes by Character, B who is sitting down

eating a bag of chips by himself.

MCU

Character B looks at his phone

He then sees his text message asking what's for dinner got
left unread

(Sighs)

Pedestal

Character A then finds a spot where he thinks he can think

in peace

MCU of character A actually starting to write something

thinking he has hope now until he hears a scream

2 people are pushing this guy around until he falls

POV shot

The victim is looking down on the floor while the bullies

laugh until they suddenly stop and the victim looks up to
see whats up and sees character A is standing in front of
them

Bully A
Something wrong?

Pan
Character A:
Yeah you guys are making too much
noise thats its borthing the public

Bully B
Thats our bad we'll try to be quiet

Victim:
Yeah... sorry about that

Character A then walks away

Character A is walking on a bridge, and a jogger runs past

him

MCU

The jogger checks his time, and gets disappointed.

Jogger: (VO)
Ugh, that's still not good enough.
I have to do better.

EWS

Jogger then goes back for another run

13 EXT. GARRET MOUNTAIN 13

MCU

Character A then gets an idea again and checks for his

pencil until he realizes he left it somewhere

Character A:
(UGH)
I can't believe I left my pencil

WS

Character A then gets frustrated and throws his notes on

the ground

Character A
(AHH)
It's like I'm just supposed to fail
this poem assignemnt I cant do this
anymore

Character A then walks away leaving his notes on the floor

Character A is now in a library reading a book, and then

his friend comes up to him.

Character A:
(Sighs)

Friend D:
Hey, what's up?
Character A:
Oh hey, what's up?

they both were quiet for a bit

Friend D:
sooo, have you finished your poem
yet?

Character A:
No, I gave up. Nothing was coming
to mind

Friend D:
What?! Co,me on you wanted to win
this time

Character A:,
yeah well, I have no idea what to
do, man

Friend D:
So you decided to come here to read
some book?

The two of them sat in silence again

Character A:
Look okay, not all of us could be
as talented as you and get ideas
every 5 seconds.

Friend D:
I'm not talented. I observe and
pick up ideas you should try
sometimes.

Character A:,
Yeah whatever, I'll do my own thing

While character A and Friend D sit in silence, Friend C

comes in and waves and brings in two Gatorade for them.

Friend C:

(Gets up)

I didn't know which color Gatorade
you like, so I got you this one.

Friend D:
Aww, that's sweet of you, and
idoesn'tnt matter which col.
Everyry color is beautiful in its
way.

to the eye as a result of the way

then what would happen if our light
went dark?

What would happen if the way we saw
the world turned negative then
what?

Flashback scenes of the teacher stressing out over work

Character A VO:
What if the stress of this world
took over, the burden of too much
work, the elixir of wanting to die,
or the want of a break, made our
world gray?

Flashbacks of the Couple arguing

Character A VO:
What if the ticking bomb in our
hearts were to go off, making an
explosion of our emotions to go
wrong? Wouldn’t our world collapse
into gray

Flashbacks of the student failing

Character A VO:
What if the need to make be
something we're not or the want to
prove something we are, fails? Are
we then worth nothing? Is our
existence just like the color gray,
not cared for?

Flashbacks of Friend C getting ignored by her friends

Character A VO:
Colors 12.

I mean let’s be honest, when was

the last time you heard someone say
their favorite color was gray? It’s
ignored just like how the unwanted
friend is forgotten.

Flashbacks of the person eating chips by himself

Character A VO:
And just like any color, food is
ssential too, but what if the need
to eat, the feeling of eating with
family, disappears?

Flashbacks of the bulling

Character A VO:
At this point, the world is
entirely gray you don't think it
can get worse, but just from
hearing this, you know, hate the
word gray. you want to fight and
take this color out of existence,
but that only spreads more
negativity and makes gray
stronger.

Flashbacks of the jogger being dissapointed

Character A VO:
The disappointment that this world
brings which makes us feel like
failure doesn't have to be gloomy.

Our math teachers say that a

negative and a positive make a
negative, but that's only true when
multiplying what if we add and not
multiply? What if our vivacious is
more significant than our
negative?

felt, was a sign that were worth
more, that we can do better, and
that were better in the color blue
than gray

What if that family problem that
were experiencing could be replaced
into something more positive,
beautiful and powerful like the
color purple

What if that bully that's just
constant like the nothern star just
disappeared or isn't as large
anymore

Character A VO:
but more respectful, kind, and warm
like the color orange

Character A VO:
What if that pressure to push
ourselves to make us sick and tired
was secretly good

WS of jogger racing

Character A VO:
and was the reason we got what we
wanted, a secret positive

CU of Jogger winning race

Character A VO:
like the secret beautiful color
green?

WS of Character A submitting his poem to his teacher

Character A VO:
If colors are the way we see light
then instead of making it go dark
and gray

CU of Friend D and charcter A high fiving

Character A VO:
let's keep looking at this world
the way god made it, a rainbow
world filled with beautiful and
positive colors.
