Rate the preparedness of Adzu in terms of disaster risk reduction and management
- I would rate their preparedness as pretty good. Based on my observations in the
recent drills implemented in school, it showcased that students had an idea as to
where they would go to go to the backfield the fastest way possible. The pacing of
the crowd was also quite fast, and we reached the back field without any hiccups.
There could still be room for improvement, but in times of an actual emergency, I
think that the students can respond and evacuate at a reasonable pace.

2. What is your idea of a perfect job

- A perfect job for me is a job wherein I feel the most comfortable and satisfied with an
ample salary which is enough to actually provide for a family. I think that it is also
perfect if it is an ethical job wherein no people are being discriminated against and
exploited. Along with people, the environment should also not be exploited.

3. How will you balance: Family responsibilities, studies, friends, community responsibilities
and what will you prioritize from those?

4. What is the root cause of social evil: money, power, illiteracy? Why?

5. What steps or measures will you take to alleviate poverty?

- Poverty has been a concern of the majority that it may seem that it cannot be
alleviated or solved, but there are ways for it to be solved. One way is good
governance free from corruption and solely serves the people as they should. With
taxes actually being used for the betterment of the country and people, the money
could be used to alleviate poverty by establishing infrastructures and using the
money to invest in schools. This could boost the job opportunities in the Philippines
and with the improvement of education for children, more people could have jobs that
give them proper work with salary befitting of their job.

6. Do you think that technological advancements have affected our emotional connections?
- I think that it did. With people being more and more exposed to social media and the
internet, it became easy for people to have access to information. People are also
exposed more to things such as violence and things like that people become more
desensitized to such acts. They feel less sympathy because they become used to
seeing stuff like that in movies, tv shows and posts.

7. If you would remove one senior high school subject, what would it be? Why?
- If I were to remove one SHS subject, I would remove ISF. ISF is a subject that
teaches spirituality, values, and other things like leadership in relation to St. Ignatius’
teachings, the school patron saint. Although it does teach some meaningful
teachings, it does not have much more technical values compared to subjects like
Biology and Oral Communication. You can also learn the teaching outside the ISF or
religious context.

9. Is education a right or privilege?

- Education should be a right to everyone as everyone should be able to learn freely.
Although, with increasing poverty, it is becoming a privilege.

10. If you could go back to the era of no internet connectivity, yes or no? Why?

11. What Ignatian value are you proud of?

12. Should content creators who are monetized be subjected to taxation?

- I think everyone should be subjected to taxation. With content creators making
money from people, I believe that they should give that back by paying the proper tax
imposed on them.

13. What sets influencers apart from a mere content creator?

14. If you were to be a university student for 1 day what school policy would you change?
- If I could change a policy, I would change the dress code and grooming policy. I think
that everyone should have the right to express themselves in the way they wear or
carry themselves. Of course, students should still be mindful in how they dress, but I
don’t think having pink hair would hinder their learning.

15. What steps or measures need to be taken to alleviate poverty?

16. Is there one thing in life that could make you successful (explain)?

17. Is it appropriate for Ms. Saudi Arabia to continue her participation in Miss Universe,
given her conservative background? Why or why not?
- I don’t think it is appropriate for her to continue her participation. Although everyone
should have the right to dress how they want, Ms. Saudi Arabia represents her
country, which is known to have religious and conservative Islam laws. Saudi Arabia
have only recently lifted the ban mandating going outside without abaya, but
everyone are still expected to dress modestly as it is an muslim country,

18. Should divorce be put into law here in the Philippines? Why?
- Divorce should be put into law because of various reasons. It gives the people
involved individuality and the division of assets and responsibilities much orderly. The
children procured during the marriage could also avoid having issues from their
parents being separated but still binded by the law. There is already a law that
separates the church and the state, but because the Philippines is mostly religious, it
is still not put into law.

19. Retirement of parents is dapat na mapunta sa mga anak?

- I don’t think making your children your retirement plan should be a resort. Parents
take care of their children by giving them food, shelter, affection, and more, but I
don’t think their children should owe it to them as this is their responsibility as their
parents. It is the parents’ choice to have a child, so it is their obligation to care for the
child. Yes, the child should still give back to their parents, but having the idea of
gratitude is not a lifetime commitment and has an end. It should only be the child’s
choice if they want to be the “retirement plan” of their parents.

20. What makes a teacher unique?

- I think what makes a teacher unique is how they connect to their students. Teachers’
main job is to teach students, but building a connection with the students should also
be taken note of. They become unique by being remembered by students as
someone they could rely on and is comfortable with. I have encountered a lot of
teachers but only a handful could only be considered as unique by me. Not all
teachers are capable of having a connection with students, so I think this makes
them unique.

21. Diskarte o diploma?

22. You're on your way to a march and someone hands you a blank sign and a marker, what
would you put on your sign and why?
23. In October, my friend, Trisha Avogue, was fatally shot while innocently driving to work. In
your opinion, what is the largest contributing factor to the high rate of gun violence in our
nation?

24. Voting is an American right. Yet, only two states currently allow their prison populations
to vote. Do you believe that the incarcerated should be allowed to participate in our
elections?

25. Millennials are often labeled as entitled, but they’ve also been called one of the most
socially conscious generations in decades. What is one word you would use to describe your
generation and why?
- One word I could describe Gen Z is that they’re open-minded. Compared to other
generations, I think they are more socially aware and with the emergence of different
ways of expressing themselves, they are considerably more accepting. They are also
more flexible and are more adaptable to change.

26. Tell me about a time when you felt unworthy and how you overcame it.

27. Sexual assault is an issue at universities across the United States. What do you believe
can be done to better protect women on college campuses

28. The Boy Scouts recently decided to accept girls into their organization. Do you feel this is
a positive change, and do you think that there is value in single-gender organizations?

29. During the last presidential election, more than one-third of women neglected to exercise
their right to vote. Why do you think that is?

30. Do you view the graduation ball as an extravagant indulgence or as a vital tradition?

31. Should the Philippines assert its territorial rights or yield to China's claim?

32. Can money measure wealth?

33. If you become the new president of this school, what changes do you want in the
school?
34. if you are the valedictorian of your batch, what do you want to tell your batchmates

35. how can you improve the environmental awareness

36. is taylor swift an ideology

37. what is one thing that makes u successful in life

38. date to marry or date to explore

- In my personal opinion, I would prefer a date to explore than a date to marry. I prefer
gaining experiences from people and learning from them as I improve myself. It can
also give me more perspectives and life and learn more about myself. Also, exploring
different connections with people helps you reduce the fear of the unknown and
develop more social skills.

39. what age is best to get married

- I think the best age to marry is when they’re 25 and above. Scientifically, your
prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for problem solving, decision making, and
controlling impulses, isn’t properly developed until you are 25 and above. Also, I don’t
think marrying someone when you’re still not fully adult and capable of making a
lifetime commitment. Of course, age isn’t the only factor to look at when marrying
someone, but I think someone should be fully adult already.
