THE

AMRUT
anusandhan In Satsang Diksha Shloka 308, Mahant Swami Maharaj writes:
Sarva jano potānā ātmāne vishe aksharrūptā prāpt karī Purushottam Sahajānandnī bhakti prāpt kare.
(May all identify their ātmā as aksharrup and offer devotion to Purushottam Sahajanand.)

BRAHMAVIDHYA BEES
To become aksharup, we need to become like Swami and this knowledge is known as
brahmavidhya. As bees symbolize wisdom, let us also gain the knowledge of
brahmavidya by choosing a virtue of Swamishri and imbibing it into our lives!

BHAKTI BUTTERFLIES
Bhakti allows us to transform ourselves into ideal Balaks-Balikas! Following our niyams
is an important part of doing bhakti. Many times, we struggle to follow our niyams
because they become repetitive, but our niyams help us to strengthen our
relationship with Swami. As butterflies symbolize transformation, let us too transform
ourselves into ideal Balaks-Balikas of Swamishri by improving in one of the
following niyams: puja, arti, chesta, satsang reading, or mansi.

Bees and butterflies feed on nectar and derive happiness from it. Similarly,
let us become aware of the amrut that we have attained, the Satpurush, by
completing the two activities above!

submissions will be written in the hand-crafted bees/butterflies made by

SHISHU MANDAL
IN-SABHA PROJECT

THE TREES OF

GHANSHYAM
Once, in the middle of a hide-and-seek game, Ghanshyam Maharaj climbed atop a pipal
tree and started gazing in a westward direction. The game was almost finished when one
of His friends spotted Him far up in the tree, lost in deep thought. They called Him down
and asked Him the reason for His steady gaze. Ghanshyam Maharaj replied, “I was
looking towards the west, where thousands of devotees are awaiting my arrival.
They are waiting for me to come and establish ekantik dharma. They are waiting
for their moksha.”

After six years, Mahant Swami Maharaj himself is coming to the West to our mandir
in Toronto, Canada! As we all are excitedly awaiting his arrival, let's ensure that we
create a grand welcome for him. In Shishu Sabha, we will be creating and
decorating little birds to symbolize us, Swamishri's shishus, patiently waiting
for Swamishri’s arrival in Canada!

Please ensure to attend your local Shishu Sabha on the weekends of May 20-
21, 2023 and May 27-28, 2023, as the birds will be created during Sabha time.
These birds will then by displayed in the mandir to warmly welcome Mahant Swami
Maharaj to Canada!

EK FUL AMARU

SWIKAROIn Satsang Diksha Shloka 129-130, Mahant Swami Maharaj writes:

Sevā, bhakti, kathā, dhyān, tap tathā yātrā ityādi sādhan karīe te māne karīne, dambhe karīne,
īrshyāe karīne, spardhāe karīne, dveshe karīne ke pachhī laukik falnī ichchhāthī na ja karavu.
Parantu shraddhāe sahit, shuddha-bhāvthī ane Bhagwānne rājī karavānī bhāvanāthī karavu.
(One should never perform sevā, devotion, discourses, meditation, austerities, pil- grimages and other
endeavours out of vanity, pretence, jealousy, competition, enmity or for the attainment of worldly fruits.
However, they should be performed with faith, pure intentions and the wish to please Bhagwan.)

Throughout our life and satsang journey, we should strive to make our actions aligned with
Swamishri's rajipo. We should remember to ask ourselves one question before we do any action:
"Is Maharaj raji, is Swami raji?"

Let's take the time to reflect on how we can make our guru happy, and offer a flower as symbol of
this vichar. For this project, please... Click the flowers

BLOOM
WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED
In Satsang Diksha Shloka 108, Mahant Swami Maharaj writes:
Aksharbrahma gurune vishe drudh prīti ane ātmabuddhi karavī. Temane vishe pratyaksh
Bhagwānno bhāv lāvīne bhaktie karīne temanī sevā tathā dhyān karavā.
(One should foster intense love and ātma- buddhi for the Aksharbrahman guru. Believing the guru
as the manifest form of Bhagwan, one should serve him and meditate upon him with devotion.)

To bloom into a beautiful flower, a seed needs soil, water, sunlight, and most importantly, love.
Similarly, we need the Satpurush and his guidance to bloom ourselves into beautiful flowers worthy
of attaining moksha.

In our satsang journey, we must first plant ourselves in nutritious soil, free from the weeds of
kusang. To grow, we must then water ourselves with our niyams. And finally, to blossom fully, we
must gain energy from our sun-like ahniks. Let's use this opportunity to bloom into Swamishri's ideal
shishya! For this project, please...

Ap Vachanma
VAHETU JIVAN
In the kirtan Ap Rijho Em Raji, the line "ap vachanama vahetu jivan"
explains how our lives flow in the words of the Satpurush. Our gurus have
provided us with many motivational and inspirational messages countless
times, such as "Do the best, leave the rest". These messages have not
only given us support and guidance through difficult times, but have also
taught us proper morals and values.

Through this project, we will reflect on our favourite inspirational

messages given to us by the Satpurush by painting them on rocks! For
this project, please...

1. Gather the following items:

ONE rock (small-to-medium size & fairly smooth)
acrylic markers (any colour)
acrylic paint (any colour)

2. Paint and decorate your rock! Then, write your favourite

message given by Swamishri on the rock.

3. Please also write your full name, centre, and group (ie. Bal 3,
Balika 2, etc.) on the bottom of the rock.

4. Submit your rock by May 28, 2023 at your local centre. Your
submissions will then be displayed in the mandir at random!
