What it Does
• Detects soft underfoot – sand, landfill, loose soil etc..

Cat® Detect with Stability Assist
How It Works
▪ Stability Assist determines a safe operating zone using the front
and rear IMUs, machine mass, and bed raise angle
▪ An alarm sounds, Front/Rear Roll Unacceptable event popup
appears, and the Machine Stability screen displays when the
needle goes beyond the safe operating zone (green)
▪ Machine Stability screen will auto display during any hoisting operation
▪ Hoisting is prevented / stopped when necessary
▪ Hoist will be stopped upon warning activating
▪ Hoist will be prevented at raise activation when on a side slope
▪ Hoist will be prevented when operating above 15 kph
▪ Hoist Condition Unacceptable event popup will appear
▪ Operator may override hoist by releasing switch to center and
reselecting raise or lower range
▪ Stability Assist is disabled above 15kph to avoid false warnings due
to machine dynamics
▪ Needles will disappear
▪ When reversing, rear side slope and grade are shown on
