Twitter is an online social networking and microblogging service that allows
its users to send and read text-based messages of up to 140 characters but on
November 7, 2017 it increased to 280 characters known as tweets. Twitter was
founded in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey, and the social networking site was
launched in July. Since its launch, Twitter has become one of the ten most
visited sites on the Internet, and has been dubbed "the short message of the
Internet”.

Answer :
The impact that Twitter has had since its founding globally is
• The existence of Twitter makes it easier for us to interact with many people only
globally.
• Twitter has changed the way people get the latest news not only in their country but
also globally with just their mobile phone.
• Twitter also provides a place for someone to express themselves and not only that
the dissemination of information also takes place quickly so that it will be easier for
us to get the latest information.
• Twitter has become a platform for politicians to communicate and reach out to their
supporters or reach out to their supporters to win elections.
There are also negative impacts that arise from Twitter, such as the spread of fake
news, cyber crimes, and pornographic content.

Limited characters
Limited characters are also one of Twitter's shortcomings for marketing campaigns.
Twitter only provides 280 characters in one tweet. This number is very short when
compared to other social media platforms that offer up to thousands of characters. So,
if you want to make a longer caption on Twitter then you have to create multiple
Tweets/Threads.
Limited photos
This needs to be considered by Twitter considering that they need to innovate like
other social media to make 1 post can be more than 4 photos like now. because
usually to promote products and services using photos / videos that are quite a lot to
share information about the product.
Curbing Trolling and Abuse
because as we know that the spread of hoax news very quickly circulates through
social media. Therefore, it is important for Twitter to limit trolling and abuse which is
useful later to keep away from cyber crime and content that is inappropriate for its
users.
