To make all the pieces to be sewn evenly and
symmetrically, l put a contrasting thread exactly across the
middle of the head at the front side to be guided with it when
placing all the pieces.
Fix the black spots for eyes, the muzzle and the ears
with pins on the head.
9
Elena_metlina_68
Stuff the muzzle and sew it between the rounds 9 and
15. Embroider the nose and make the stitch dividing the

A needle sculpting for the belly:
Mark the points between the rounds 17 и 18 with pins.
Count 5 stitches to the right and to the left sides from the
center across the front part and mark these points with pins.
Insert the needle into the opening we have left on the bottom
and pull out from the first point between the rounds 17 and
18, run the threaded needle outside of the body and insert
into the second point, then pull out from the opening again.
Pull both the thread ends and make a knot. Repeat all these
steps if desired or if the needle sculpting is not tight enough.
Pull the opening closed, pulling the stitches tightly.
Cut the thread, fasten off and weave in the thread tail.

Thread jointing for the limbs:
We attach the limbs using the thread jointing.
Mark the points where the arms should be located on
the body with pins between 10th and 11th rounds on both
sides.
19
Elena_metlina_68
Fix the arms on the body somewhere between 10th and 11th
rounds on both sides.
Make sure, that you have chosen the right position.
Watch the proportions of the body, the belly must be located
strictly in the center.
Attach the arms: insert the needle into the body and
pull it out from the opposite side. Leave a long tail for
fastening off the thread end. Run the needle through the arm.
Then insert the needle into the same point on the arm, run it
through the arm again and pull it out from the arm leaving 1
stitch from the first entry point.
Run the needle through the body again. The needle
should be inserted into the stitch which is located next to the
stitch where it was pulled out before and return to the side
where we have left the thread tail. Now we have thread tails
located on the same side, pull them so that the arms were
pushed closely to the body. Run the needle though the second
arm, return to the same point where the needle was pulled
20
Elena_metlina_68
out before and then pull out leaving one stitch from the entry
point on the arm. Pull the thread tails again and tie several
knots.
Repeat all the steps two more times. Pay attention that
the threaded needle should run in the same way: you insert
the needle and pull it out from the same points. Fasten off the
thread and hide all the tails inside of the body.
Attach the legs in the same way. Count 11 rounds from
the bottom and mark the points on the body sides, where the
legs should be attached. Make sure the belly is facing forwards.
Make sure the legs are correctly located. Make the toy seat.It
should seat evenly and shouldn’t lean over. Attach the legs.
