INHS dominates Basketball exhibition; 60-59

Isabela National Highschool (INHS) dominated the Basketball exhibition game over
Roxas National Highschool (RNHS) on Tuesday, at St. Ferdinand College open court,
Ilagan, Isabela.

A rollercoaster encounter on a Sunday afternoon ended the games' First half at 28-27
slim margin for INHS. The jam-packed crowd was predominantly RNHS but this doesn't
stop the INHS players from clinching the victory.

On the second half of the exhibition, the game is still close and it's anyone's shot that
dictates the lead. Roxas took the lead but Gonzales fired a trifecta to give INHS the lead
54-53. In the last two minutes of the game, RNHS's Rolly Menor found his rhythm and
tied the game at 59-all with 15 seconds remaining. With 10 seconds left, Gonzales
fished a foul and connected 1 out of 2 free throws. Menor shot a desperate jumpshot
that went in-and-out of the ring.

The exhibition ended with a final score of 28-27; 60-59 In favour of INHS with Florente
Carion (21 points) and Paul Gonzalez (13 points) as top scorers carrying their team to
triumph.

"Faith carried us through this game, it's a good game," says Gonzales during his
interview.
