In the course of the analysis of the semantic features of personal names, the process
of falling out of use of some names in the English and Kazakh anthroponymic fund was
revealed. We note that there are some changes in the composition of names
(descriptors), which are given depending on the nature of the name. For example, in the
analysis of modern human names, it can be noted that names formed by the presence of
names of facial and body parts were found only in girls. In principle, the fact that in the
past such names were most often given to a boy can be fully understood from the names
in human surnames and paternal names.
